My husband brought me here for breakfast. Great service, water was great, but a terrible breakfast. So terrible I couldn't even finish my below average "belgium waffle". The waffle was maybe microwaved and possibly thrown on the griddle for a second to appear freshly made. Literally like boxed waffles. In fact they were not only cheap but also freezer burned. The blueberries were ok from the can. There was no option of whipped cream which would have helped with the bad waffle taste be just a bit better should it have come with it. I could have made an Ego waffle at home which was better quality of a waffle than what this place offers. The worst breakfast ever possibly and will never go back again and waste money on well below average tasting food.
My husband surprisingly didn't even like his breakfast he had a Denver omelet. It was so bland and no flavor he said. I could look at it and tell it was so pathetic looking. There was no need for me to try a bite of his to give my thoughts because the looks of it were enough to tell me it wasn't good. His omelet barely had any cheddar cheese on it and it was just a poor excuse for a breakfast for $14.99. I don't do reviews because I don't like to waste my time. But I had to do one for this place because I'd be doing everyone an injustice if I don't say how my breakfast was and helped anyone save their $40.00 and go anywhere else...
Read moreStopped going here years ago because we were burnt out on it. Went there too much and too often. Spent the next few years trying to find a place closer to home that would be a similar replacement. We found places that had the same prices but food quality and service was lackluster. Found a place that had good service but the food sucked and the prices were too high. So on and so forth. Went back today because we were right down the street waiting for a store to open and God damn.... why did we wait so long to come back? The food was amazing and actually cooked right. Not to mention quick. Best bacon in denver. The pricing was right were we remembered it maybe a dollar more. The service was on f-ing point, I never got to the bottom of my coffee before it was refilled. In and out 40 minutes full and satisfied. Highly...
Read moreAlways a delight. I seem to arrive when it is not very busy. Then the masses flock.
The food is reasonably priced. It's standard diner food with massive selection to choose from. I usually go at breakfast. It used to be voted "Denver's Cheapest Breakfast" but I unsure if the moniker still stands.
The biscuits and gravy are nothing stellar, but they fill the belly. Add a side of bacon and a cup of coffee and one it set for breakfasts. The green chili is weak. I suppose a mild attempt fits into the niche of certain patrons. But the food is good standard.
The wait staff is experienced and have been there many years. The owner is always on site and helpful. The atmosphere is cozy and old school.
I support local businesses. Breakfast Palace serves it's purpose. It's good. Try it. You'll be...
