Wow! How did I not come here sooner?! These were hands-down the best cocktails I've ever had! Bear Creek Distillery makes all their own spirits and they are so smooth and delicious. There is a huge selection of cocktails made with a variety of spirits! I tried three different cocktails and each one blew my mind. The red panda is one of the more unique cocktails I've ever had. It is on the savory side and is so smooth and is a perfect flavor combo! The blackberry sour was great as well! We also tried the holly jolly, which was a seasonal special. I hope they still have it when I go back because it was delicious!! The only struggle is not drinking them really fast because they taste so good!! I even wondered if there was alcohol in them because they were so smooth (but time let me know that there definitely was).

I really liked the vibe of the bar as well. The interior design is cool and there is great energy. It is pretty loud inside so it wouldn't be the place if you are looking for a quiet, intimate evening. I loved the music they played though. I found myself dancing along to the beats at my table. They played a great variety and I really loved the rap and hip hop they played. They even played a track from the Hamilton Mixtape (and I had a mini freak out because I was so excited!)!

Caitlyn was our bar tender and she was incredible! So friendly and helpful and sweet. I will definitely be back very soon and look forward to try more of their...

I stumbled across Bear Creek Distillery after several people said I should go to Laws Whiskey House, then visit Bear Creek Distillery because it's down the street. (I highly recommend going to both on the same day because they are a few blocks apart). The first thing I noticed about the distillery is it's smell, unlike many distilleries which smell like their current fermented mash Bear Creek smelled like fresh herbs and citrus. Divo introduced himself from behind the bar, and walked myself and my date through the rums and vodkas are available for purchase then let us sample each one. I enjoyed the Silver Rum and the Barrel Aged Rum. After sampling the liquors we ordered two of their incredibly unique cocktails. The Spiced Chai is made with spiced rum (that going to be bottled and available for purchase soon) chai, and half and half. This drink is dangerous... it doesn't taste like alcohol. The Red Panda Bear is made with Rye Vodka and red bell pepper juice, it has the earthy freshness I associate with a salad, and was a pleasant take on the savory drinks without being spicy. Bear Creek is hands down my favorite spot in Denver. There is nothing more comforting that sitting in the tasting room trying new drinks made with their in house booze sitting next to the barrels enjoying great live music and making new friends.

Every single drink here is amazing, the friendly staff makes each cocktail to perfection and the rum, vodka, whiskey and bourbon are all top notch.. I’ve never had a bad drink.... ever... period.

From live music to comedy shows, the tasting room always has something fun going on. It’s the kind of place you’d like to celebrate your birthday or coordinate a work event at. When the nights are slow, you can sit back and watch sports and meet new people.. oh and you’ll meet DBO.
