Worst experience ever. I went in 08/18 around 6pm I asked kindly if they were still taking people in the 3 peopls in there gave eachother a look and then said yes the pedicure was not even 20 mins long. The lady rolled her eyes and said they dont do cherries just flowers and it was extra 5$ when she finished my pedicure I asked what kind of flowers because my friend didnt speak english so i asked for her the lady AGAIN rolled her eyes and said "I already put the topcoat on no flowers now " and threw her hands in the air . and i clearly said i was asking for my friend not for me. My friend showed her what flower and she said 15$ extra when she originally said 5$ this place is a joke. And still I paid for the 70$ 20 min service and bad attitude. We were rushed out of there like nothing and I was still kind enough to leave a 5 dollar tip when I shouldnt have because of her rude behavior. Nobody should have to get treated like this at a nail salon and id honestly wouldnt have paid anything for the service if I had the heart to be bitter like that woman but I simply took it as is and let it be for the moment now that I think of it I shouldnt have even been charged for something that made me feel worse than...
Read moreMy appointment was at 12:45 drove all the way across town walked in the to find another person in the chair. My appointment was confirmed. His assistant called my cell 2nd reminder. I get there niy tells me my appointment was booked wrong. I showed him my confirmation. His assistant started taking the gel of my nails then stopped after 2 other people walked in leaving me to just sit and wonder. I sat there patiently for about 10 minutes quietly to see if niy would say I'll be with you or is his assistant going to finish taking the gel off? Nope. I then felt disrespected. I've tipped very well at other appointments. Niy was very snappy and rude this particular day. it was 2 other "women of Color" waiting as well Feeling unrecognized. It's funny how all 3 of us left at the same time lol. I did a review, they said they just won't come back take their money elsewhere. We all laughed and took off. We TIP to niy. I met a lady right after who now dose my hair and nails. Things happen for a reason for me. If your a person of Color don't go to niy especially when he's overbooked...
Read moreSuch an awkward greeting considering it was my first time. I asked for a gel manicure. I was asked to pick my color and handed a stack full of colors instantly, I had to sit down to be able to handle them all being shoved in my hands. I started off with one worker sanding off my previous gel and was handed off to clearly what was a new trainee. 40 minutes later and we still hadn't started color and the file and barely manicured cuticles were done. She clearly wasn't confident with the tools yet. Keep in mind I was the only one in the shop and it was awkwardly quiet, no music no TV or backroom noise to drown out this painfully awkward interaction. I've never walked out on a nail session but there's a first to...
