Kassai Sushi — Restaurant in Denver

This was my first time, my table was dirty and sticky, the menus were also dirty and sticky. The restaurant in general was not clean as a good serving industry should be. I ordered green tea and received a white coffee cup with a ring of scum on the inside. When I addresses it the waitress said that was the tea, upon pouring some out and showing her the solid ring that I could wipe off with my finger, she decided I was right and brought me another tea. The chefs do not wear hair nets or caps. They had gloves, but there were several occasions I witnessed poor handling of food after touching other surfaces and not washing hands in between or changing gloves. My food came up on the sushi bar and sat there for over 10 minutes before my waitress brought it to me, other staff saw me waiting and my food waiting and still my food sat at the bar. Owner and staff are very rude and disrespectful. Food is good when they actually get the order correct. Several times I've ordered from here they completely mess up my order but thankfully GrubHub has refunded my orders because if you call the restaurant they'll refuse to fix or refund you. I went to order from here the other day and a staff member calls me to tell that they won't accept my orders anymore because GrubHub has refunded my orders in the past. If they would have gotten my orders right in the first place this wouldn't be an issue. So they thought it's right to punish me for their own mistakes rather than own up to them and make it right. Maybe it's because I'm from FL and I'm used to really fresh seafood and sushi, but this was incredibly disappointing. The rice was incredibly mushy and overdone in both the Bomb ash roll and the Dragon Roll . The fish in the Bomb ash roll seemed to have an aftertaste. Also, I wasn't a fan of the fact I ordered two separate rolls and they put them both in the same container with one set of chopsticks, albeit this was an order for two separate people. Out of 10 pieces I was only able to get two down of the Bomb ash roll . The Dragon Roll l was ok but still underwhelming.
