While food was good, service was lacking. Before entering front door, we could see the waitstaff eating in plain view. Very casually dressed (like pajamas) waitress seated us at a table that was still dirty with food debris still on it. I refused to sit down until she came back with a rag to wipe it down. I ordered my entree of scallops with brown rice, when it arrived she had brought white rice. Also my friend got his entree minutes before I got mine. So I had to wait. A man at the other end of the small dining room was playing youtube videos praising 45 at full volume, on top of coughing his lungs out. We had to listen to this drivel the whole time. I think if I consume food from Moon Gate in the future, I'll get it to go to avoid dealing with such things. Or I'll just get food from elsewhere. Update: I returned and ordered Thai Curry Noodles. The menu description says it comes with "beautiful basil leaves" - which were noticeably absent when it was delivered to table. It was the basil leaves that made me order it. I got up to tell waitress (who did not come back to check if all was OK), she argued with me loudly that TCN do not have basil leaves. I opened menu and showed her the phrase "beautiful basil leaves". She then relented and brought me a small bowl with maybe a dozen basil leaves, and that made a huge difference for the better upon adding them. Once again, a 20% tip...

The food here is consistently excellent and is my local go to for Asian delivery food! Great variety of different flavors and dishes (Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Mongolian) and also lots of vegetarian selections.

I live about a mile down the street from Moongate and have consistently ordered from here for the last 5 years — probably over 100 times at this point! Their record for delivery time was 9 minutes from the time I hit send on the online ordering (which is super easy) to when it arrived at my door. Between my wife (vegetarian) and I (eats anything), we have tried about 40% of the menu and it has all always been tasty and fresh. There really isn’t much that we haven’t “liked” but obviously have our usual favorites which are: Sesame Tofu or Chicken, Vietnamese Rice Noodle Bowls with Tofu or Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Snow Pea Shrimp, all the different types of egg roll/spring rolls, all of the different curries, Thai Fried Rice or Basil Friend rice, Pad Thai, and the Sandon Hot & Sour soup.

I could go on and on about how great the food is here and I’ve introduced my entire friend group to this place over the years since I like it so much! Give it a try, you definitely...

The food is always pleasant whenever we go here, but service has always been suboptimal. Our server is usually very blunt and demanding and seems distracted and uninterested, frequently sitting at tables to scroll on her phone. Just recently my friends went out for a little pick-me-up, and a friend of mine ordered. And when that special time came, they didn't bring out what he ordered, instead bringing out a dish with similar pronunciation. Our waitress didn't take a moment to check in with us after leaving our food at the table, and it took a couple tries to get her attention. Once she finally came around to our table, my friend politely corrected his order. And our waitress, instead of being understanding of the mistake, began to scold my friend for several minutes. She told him he didn't know what he ordered, asked him to repeat a couple times, and then went on to fully lecture him on what he was supposed to say to get the dish he asked for. For clarification, he never said the name of the dish they brought out instead.
