Ashley was an absolute dream to work with! Before sitting down with Ashley, I had met with a handful of other jewelry designers in the Denver region, and was quite disappointed. I was looking for someone to collaborate with to create an engagement ring for my soon-to-be fiancée, and was having trouble finding someone who felt inclusive, easy to work with, and at the level of craftsmanship I desired. That was until I stepped into Ashley’s office and sat down to chat. I wandered in without even an appointment, and still she was so warm and welcoming from the get-go, and genuinely cared about what I wanted and was looking for in a ring. Ashley was the perfect person to work with in regard to such an important and intimate decision, because she always had our best interest in mind, she was open to new thoughts and ideas, the input she gave was always insightful and important, and I could tell she worked her butt off to make my vision come to life… and I can say without a doubt that it paid off! Whereas other designers acted like it was a chore that I had ideas and desires, and charged exorbitant costs to even begin a conversation about a design, Ashley accepted me with open arms and no strings attached! She worked within my budget, and was always cognizant of what I was looking for. One thing that struck me as special was that she really cared to know about my soon-to-be fiancée, not only what her taste and aesthetic was, but what she was like as a person, and what she enjoyed doing. It felt so personable. The ring itself is an absolute masterpiece, it was honestly above and beyond my expectations. When I proposed, my fiancée was struck with how perfect the ring was. She kept on saying “it is sooo me!”, and that she couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect ring. The ring Ashley designed wasn’t like anything you could find at a regular jewelry store. It is simple, yet unique, elegant and brilliant. That's what is great about Ashley, she is so willing and excited to create something that is special and uniquely tailored to the person it is you are designing it for. After the engagement, we both met with Ashley, shared photos from the special moment, and expressed our sincerest gratitude. She told us if we ever needed it resized or modified, not to hesitate to ask. We are so excited to continue meeting with Ashley in the coming year to design wedding bands. Here’s the thing, I don’t ever write reviews, but because of the overwhelmingly positive experience I’ve had with Ashley these past few months, I felt that it would be a disservice not to spread the word! If you don't know where to go, and feel intimidated by the whole ring choosing process like I was, and you know you want an unforgettable piece for your special someone, give Ashley Schenkein a call, I promise you...

I've only had a consultation with the team at Ashley Schenkein Jewelry Design and havent even worked with them yet, and felt inclined to write this review, solely based off a 1 hour consultation. So that should already tell you something....

Can I please just say that this was the most welcoming, kind, wonderful team of ladies. Right from walking in the door, my future fiance, felt welcomed into a clean, cool non-stuffy environment. Ashley asked my name (instead of just saying hello to my male, future fiance, that booked the appointment - unlike the other big local jewelers we went to) which seems like a small thing, but it wasnt and made an impression, clearly. I felt super heard on my design thoughts and preferences. She even helped me consider options that I was told didn't exist at other shops. We immediately knew that this was a jeweler we wanted to work with. We felt prioritized and heard. We weren't pushed or pressured into anything. We left the appointment with huge smiles on our faces because how great of an experience it was.

Please read their mission statement on their website. It will give you a perfect description of the vibe and attention you will receive. If you're looking for a cool girl, trendy shop, this isn't it. Don't get me wrong, they'll help you design any piece you want, but if you're wanting to be heard, treated like a priority when you're about to spend a ton of money, and have an absolutely lovely experience without being rushed or pressured, this is the spot.
