I was looking for a new yoga studio once I moved to Denver after being a dedicated member of the Little Yoga Studio in Boulder, and I see why so many people recommended going to the River. They have 3 locations (Sunnyside, five points, and golden triangle), fantastic teachers, a wide range of class options, and a reasonable monthly pass ($120/month is good for me lol).
They have lots of hot yoga, warm yoga, unheated, yin, deep stretch and meditation, and yoga cross in the mornings.
They also do some online classes, but all of their teachers are so fun - I’m specifically a big fan of Bre Taylor, Jes K, Kelsey M, and so many more of the teachers! You really can’t go wrong with whatever class you choose. They also do some open air/open studio classes, and they have 6pm yoga in Civic Center Park every Wednesday in the summer! And candlelight yoga as well :) even if you’re just visiting, go to one of their open air classes at their five points location! That’s a nice open air rooftop class...
Read moreI love this space. I joined the River at the recommendation of a friend just over a year ago. The community has multiple locations in Denver, but Sunnyside is the location I go to most often. Everyone is so welcoming and the space reflects that.
It hosts two large studios, one with garage doors for open air classes during nice weather. The space is clean, feels safe, the heated class are wonderful during cold months and teachers are fabulous.
One of my favorite things about the River classes are that every class can be adapted to what you need. There is no judgment on your movement or what you personally need from the space any given day....
