My friend and I went to trendy nails and Lash on Broadway and it was not a very good experience for either one of us. My friend is an amputee so she only has one leg and we went in to get pedicures. Being Siri is my friend asked if hers would be half price they laughed at her and just continue to talk amongst themselves. So her and I sat in the massage chairs which were great that’s why they get the one star and put our feet in the almost to hot water. Then I also explain to them that I would like a polish change on my acrylic nails. So a nail technician came over and started to file the shellac off my acrylics and proceeded to change the color. That was $20 then they started on our pedicures. They kept hurting my toes they did not get off any of the dead skin and they just painted my toenails. My friend and I could’ve stayed at home and paint each others toenails for free instead of paying 27 for mine and 20 for hers. So the location is beautiful and it looks very professional but don’t let it fool you they are not professional they are not good they are not anything they’re just not. They suck! So save your money or go somewhere else. Needless to say I will not be going back...
Read moreGot my nails done earlier this week by Tiffany and I have definitely found my new spot in Denver. I’ve lived here for 5 years and been to about a dozen salons in search of someone who does great nails. I never really found a place and ended up buying a bunch of stuff to do them myself after a while. Until the other day I took a chance on this place near my office because doing it myself was taking me like 3 hours and not lasting very long lol. I made an appt but showed up 30 minutes early and they took me immediately. I lucked out and got Tiffany as my nail tech and she is so so good. I will be going to her exclusively moving forward. I got a dip manicure with long tips and the chrome powder and they came out incredible. Although I didn’t get nail design, she showed me a bunch of pictures of her work and she’s good at that too! She’s a lil perfectionist and made sure I was happy with length, shape, thickness, color, etc every step of the way. Can’t speak to any of the other nail techs or services but the salon is really nice and pretty and they have the good pedicure chairs from what I saw! Prices were also super reasonable. Worth every penny and can’t...
Read moreI’ve come to this place for pedicures, manicures, and gel polish changes. I’ve never been very impressed nor upset - each experience was pretty neutral and got the job done. So I never felt like posting a review.
That is until last Friday. I came for a gel polish change. The lady didn’t soak my nails to soften the polish at all, just went straight to the sanding tool. The tool generated so much frictional heat that I felt the flesh under my nails burn. I yelped and pulled my hand away. She said sorry but continued to do this for all my fingers. I screamed from pain multiple times.
Then she asked me if I wanted the length changed. I said no change in nail length or shape. I understand she has to do some filing to remove all the old polish, but my nails ended up all different lengths and shapes. I sat in my car for 20 mins after re-shaping them myself.
I will never go back again even though they are so close and convenient to me. The service is terrible and not cheap (almost $30 for that fiasco). Oh, and it hasn’t even been 5 days and the gel polish is already chipping...
