After waiting 40 minutes with the other traffic attempting to enter the Chocolatetown parking lot we reached the parking attendant who told us (and everyone in front of us) the free lot is full and to make a u turn and exit the lot. He handed us a slip of paper stating that we could park at Hershey Park instead. Hershey Park charges $35 to park regardless of how long you stay. They had time to print out paper slips but didn't bother putting anything on their website about the situation, or put up a sign at the entrance which would have at least saved us the 40 extra minutes of sitting in the car following the u turn circus. This is something you expect from a local town fair, not a storied name like Hershey. I recommend calling in advance before going to avoid them wasting your time. Read moreIf you are young or new to Hershey Park then I guess the new addition (Chocolate Town) is great. It has a nice restaurant and a new accommodating open space. The pathway leading from Chocolate world passed all the little shops is now gone. The area leading to the entrance to the park where I took my children and then my grandchildren is now all gone along with all the memories. They wiped it...
Read moreIf you visit hershey park you have to visit this place. It's right next door but it's free. It's like a big hershey store with 4 attractions inside. The hershey tour ride, which is free, and three other experiences. Which you don't have to do if you don't want to. They have a food court area as well to grab a bite and ton of chocolate and candy goodies to buy as gifts as well as plenty of clothes and souvenirs. We went on the day after our hershey park day to close out our trip. One thing we did notice was that there were items within the hershey park stores that we didn't see here. So if you see something you like at the park, make sure you buy it. Prices are at a premium here so don't expect...
