I went into this store with a broken phone screen, everything still worked I just needed a new screen! Only reason I wanted to replace the screen is because it was cracked will glass falling out (yeah I broke it good). Breaking the phone is beside the point because at some point we all do and that is why this place is even in business! After being in the store an hour I was going to leave with my phone in working condition and noticed that the home button was super sensitive and was going crazy (I knew a risk with the home button was possible but it was pushing itself and the phone was going nuts) Carly the girl I was working with was absolutely wonderful (customer service wise and was super sweet). She was concerned so she opened the phone back up (big mistake) because the touch and the home button went completely out! She was great a working to try and fix the problem and then partnered with her boss who said she wasn't sure what could have happened but they could send the phone off but they thought the phone had touch HiC which is a disease on the phone that means the motherboard of the phone came unmicrosauded to the phone itself (I was told this could have happened when I dropped the phone which is crazy cause the phone worked up until they worked on it). Carly's Boss made sure that Carly relayed to me that they would send it off but the repair was on me and my wallet which I still don't understand. After and update and a factory restore on the phone I left it over night so that the manager could look at it herself. The next morning I got a call from the Manager and she stated she didn't know what was wrong with the phone but the could send it off but again I had already been told I would have to pay for the repair. She said I will put all the original pieces on the phone and you can come pick your phone up (because I wasn't going to send it off and have to pay for a repair to he done to a phone that just needed a simple screen replacement when I went into the store). What this boils down to is that I Fix and Repair tore my phone up and wasn't willing to pay for the repair and wanted to send my phone off and it would never be the same again. People we take our phones into these places to intrust the individuals will do the repair and the phone will work (keep in mind I mentioned earlier I knew there were risk but no reason as to why my phone doesn't work now when it was working fine when I went into the store) This company in no way shape or form ever admitted to me that they screwed my phone up and took no responsibility in it. After being told I would be responsible for the repair I realized these people do not need to have a contract with IPhone if they aren't going to replace the phone after they basically demolished a phone and wouldn't fess up and take the responsibility. I have looked into this company and know that they can have their apple contract pulled if enough people have issues with them. I urge you to write a review if they have messed your phone up and didn't want to take the responsibility! Do it so people won't go through what I have been through! The don't deserve your business and I will never grace...
Read moreHad a broken tablet took it to I fix in the mall and they said they would order the part and it would be a same day repair when it came in. A week or so passed and they called and said the part was in. I took my tablet in for repair they said they may not get to it that day because they were busy... understandable. Well I came back late the next day and they said they still haven't got to it and they would leave a note to do it first thing the next day. Well the next afternoon I called and they still didn't have it ready. So a few more days passed and they called and said they had broken the screen and had to order a whole new screen. Told us we had to wait for the tech to get paid because he had to pay for the new replacement parts. It took more than 1 month to get the new parts and for them to finally call us and say it's ready. We get to the store and ask to pick up the tablet and it is in horrible condition the back panel wasn't even put back on properly and had spots where it was raised up enough I could see the internals on the tablet. We refused to take it that time because it was not repaired. We also learned the the money we origanally paid them to fix it was refunded to the tech who had broken the tablet. The employee/tech refused to try to repair the tablet saying "I'm not going to try to press that together and break that tablet." She was referring the the back panel I mentioned was raised up in places. We told her to contact the manager and she pulled out her cell phone called the manager and said "These people are refusing to take the tablet and I'm so mad I'm about to just walk out" the manager told her to tell us she would take a look at it tomorrow. A few days passed they called again and said it was ready so we went to get it and it was better condition but still it is very scuffed up on the trim all the way around the screen and the back is still slightly raised up in a few places. We took it anyway out of pure frustration with the employees and the manager. This place is a joke DO NOT take anything here to be fixed or you will regret it. This is the first time I've ever written a review but this place was so bad I felt like I needed to put it out there that this place is not a professional establishment and they treat their customers like garbage after you hand...
Read moreI’m calling you out IFixandRepair - Wiregrass Commons Mall (NOT the Dothan Walmart Location). In particular, the manager at this location.
I work for a phone carrier in the same mall and I had a customer approach my stand, asking if the “Apple Airpods” you just sold her were really a legit Apple product. From a few feet away, they looked legit, but upon further inspection, they were definitely a counterfeit. I sell plenty of Apple products out of my store on a daily basis and have for 5+ years. I can tell just by the fit/finish, packaging, font, etc that these are definitely not a real Apple product, or even a refurbished unit.
From what your customer told me, you reassured her that they were a legitimate product, and refused to offer her a refund, only store credit until she threatened to get mall management and the police involved.
Shame on you for preying on elderly and unknowing customers trying to get Christmas gifts for their families. She told me she spent the last $90 of her fixed income to get these for her daughter as a late Christmas gift.
You are selling items under false pretenses and not disclosing the authenticity of the products. Makes me wonder how many other people you have ripped off with this same scam. This is some shady business practices and unfortunately it can tarnish the customer’s trust in cellular/mobile vendors and repair companies alike.
Pictured is the “Apple AirPods” you sold her and the last picture is a stock image of the legitimate product from Google from a trusted device...
