Fishel Park — Attraction in Downers Grove

What a beautiful venue. I come every summer every Tuesday for The incredible concerts they have. The food vendor's done site are always awesome. And there's always some tables of businesses advertising their service and most of them have great little giveaways. Unfortunately they have some type of lightning detector and they will close down for 30 minutes but they make everyone leave. So most of us really don't come back which is a shame but when that happens we go into town and go to the wine bar or Bally doyles or something. It's so crazy because they're lightning detector goes off but no one ever sees any lightning. It would be great if they filled in the big holes so people stopped getting hurt when they step in them. Unfortunately they're right in front of the food vendors. So be careful. But have fun. This is a great park on Tuesday...

It is a nice park for concerts and we typically have enjoyed the Tuesday night performances. More recently we have come to notice that with large crowds and no supervised assistance with seating it becomes difficult, particularly for seniors, to safely navigate to an open spot. Official assistance would really help to maximize the capacity and keep aisles passable. The sound also drops significantly toward the back. Speaker out in the crown like Ravinia would help. We just don’t enjoy it like we used too. Changes would help improve...

My son likes this park and has fun here and thry have picnic tables and just huge area to have a picnic with family n friends. The problem with this place is the bathrooms are always closed. In the 6 yrs I have consistently gone to this park only once have I ever seen the bathrooms open. Not a good place for kids just being potty trained because there is nowhere for them to use the bathroom unless u walk or drove to a business and ask tho use...
