Prince Pond — Attraction in Downers Grove

This park is on the north end of a large pond with two fountains in the middle. There is a pages all around the pond, as well as around the park itself. It was easy to let my older son play at the park while I pushed my younger son around in the stroller.

The park is a little small, but it was a lot of fun. There were four swings, and a variety of other fun things to play on. There is also a fence around the park that, although it has large enough openings for a kid to get through, is enough to keep them contained. The streets around it are also not too busy.

Overall, this was a nice weekend stop...

The Prince Pond brings a lot of relaxation after a walk there, fun for the kids who like to visit the playground, fun to watch the ducks, geese, chipmunks, squirrels & birds by the pond. Prince pond is a really calm pond, its has a nice little trail to walk around the pond, also it has a playground for kids, and for fisherman i dont reccomend you rarely will get anything other then sunfish and bluegill, but if your a starter prince should be a good...
