I walked in here yesterday knowing almost nothing about Warhammer and now I'm binging YouTube videos about it, trying to figure out my favorite faction! The people who work there are fantastic! Me and my friend were helped by Adam yesterday and he was amazing. As soon as we walked in he asked us how we were doing, what our names are, what brought us into the store, and how much we knew about Warhammer. Then he asked if we'd like to do a demo game, and he walked us through a game for about 15 minutes where he showed us some simple mechanics and gave us the groundwork of how the game works. He also walked us through some of the factions and lore of the game and you could tell he was super enthusiastic about all of it. He also gave us a free figure at the end! While Adam was a fantastic help who's energy made me more excited about the game, even the people who didn't work there were very open to helping me and friend as well. We hovered around some game tables were people were playing trying to figure out what was going on and some people gave us very quick run-throughs of their games while they were playing. It seems like the Warhammer community especially at this store is a very welcoming and helpful place. The only obstacle I have is that it's pretty expensive to get into, but it's nice that they have game tables to play at in the store. After my visit here, I hope I can get into Warhammer at some point, and this definitely wouldn't have been the case had it not been for the amazing energy and help from Adam and everyone else in there. Even if you have no idea what Warhammer is, I recommend stopping in, because you may just find...
Read moreWhen I called to get a can of spray paint (Retributor Armor) Adam picked up the phone, very friendly and earnestly set aside a can for me that I was able to pick up.
When I arrived in store, Adam was there and was very welcoming to me and several friends who were new to the Warhammer hobby, told us about the painting workshops and offered to explain the latest edition of the rules.
Excellent selection of both Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40k models, rule books, novels, paints, tools, and economical use of space to fit 3 large tables (in addition to fantastically painted terrain pieces)
It should be irrelevant, but in a time when hobby stores can have an uncertain attitude towards women and newbie gamers, this place was very diverse and relaxed with a great and welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to be back for the...
Read moreI came here mostly because I was very curious and interested in the hobby, the employee there noticed me and began talking to me and asked what brought me here, so I explained that I was new and interested in the hobby, he later brought me over to a table and brought out a miniature and said if I would like to try and build one, he also gave some advice on how to build an army and what would be good to have in it. Although I may have not bought anything they welcomed me in open arms and walked me through what was Warhammer, he also mentioned that they are also willing to teach you how to paint your own army and how to play as well. I truly felt welcomed and comfortable and I plan on returning to fully experience...
