Brookshire Children's Park — Attraction in Downey

Nice park to take younger kids. Not much playground equipment, so older kids might get bored real quick...it's kind of a small park. I like that the playground seems to be aimed at smaller children, as it can be a pretty nerve-racking experience taking a small child to the park when there's a lot of older kids. Here the little ones have more freedom to explore, and you don't feel awkward playing along with your child. Inappropriate public behavior has been witnessed, including people engaging in indecent acts in open view, which is unacceptable—especially in a family-friendly environment.

Kids wished there was at least one slide. Very small play area two baby swings and two normal swings, some climbing toys and two little ride on. Overall nice and clean. No parking lot street parking only. Wasn’t too easy to find at 2pm on a Monday parking was limited. Paths are dirt paths and decent...
