So awesome! I was excited for weeks before our trip to Orlando to do this! I’ve experienced it twice and about to go a 3rd time today! At sunset was my first experience and it was one the most exhilarating and thrilling things I’ve done in a while! The views were breathtaking and the feeling of the pull of gravity and wind made it that much more amazing! Staff are great and fun! Just standing in line with fellow humans bubbling with nervous excited energy was a great experience! Some tips for those on the fence about this ride that may help: ride at night and on the outside seat for a smoother and less intense version. The inside seat and in the middle of the day is most intense version of this ride! Height requirement is 44” and no weight limit unless you weigh more than a car BUT you have to fit in seat! I was nervous about this because I am pear shaped in size 16-18 jeans but I was fine. The seats are safer than they appear to be. Kind of bucket style with slight reclined feel and there is a small raised saddle like hump between legs and then also a locking vertical strap between lap bar and seat base, also a large safety belt like strap that goes under arms from one side of individual seat to middle. You cannot unstrap these until released by attendant back on ground. So even if you passed out of fright up there you are not going to fall out! Yet up there you feel free and not strapped at all! No cell phones, hats, sunglasses, keys, purses, bags, loose shoes or sandals allowed. There are lockers as well as bins at base for these items while you ride. I was permitted to use my GoPro with wrist strap or chest strap. Thanks Starflyer staff for this! I totally would not want to take any loose items or want others to do so because it could really hurt someone if dropped or flew off. The wind along with centrifugal force is very strong. So don’t try to hold any device. Also you will want your hands free to either white knuckle grip the chains or bar or do what I did! Full disclosure: I supermanned it and did titanic arms up there! I LOVED it and want a season pass (if they offer one)! Do something every day that makes you feel absolutely alive and scares you...

Read moreI was there a few weeks ago and what was supposed to be a good time with my family for our vacation turned out to be a VERY stressful moment. I got tickets for the ride for myself, my wife and our 7 yo daughter. The lady who was in charge of directing the customers to the swings put my daughter and I together and my wife by herself in a very far swing. I called the woman just to ask if it would be possible to bring my wife to sit closer to us. She didn´t even look at my face and didn´t answer me. I called her again and she kept on being unresponsive and looking at me with an ugly face as if I were doing something wrong. I mentioned to my father (who was waiting for us outside of the ride) about her attitude, in our own langauge which is not even english, and right after that she came yelling at me saying "I know how to do my job". I told her she doesn´t know how to do her job because she deals with customers and she doesn´t know how to treat a customer well. She was so nervous without any reason and she wanted to take me out of the ride and give me a refund. I feel I was a victim of xenophobia for no apparent reason (that was not the first time something like this happened during our vacation in the US, I was mistreated with no reason by a Publix attendant). This lady should really lok for another job because she is not able to deal with customers at all. She is a black lady who works...
