Summary - No explanation of which attractions need cards and which will allow the wristbands. They took our cards and didn't give them back. We didn't get to do another attraction because of this.
Full story - We arrived and bought the 3 hour unlimited pass and some arcade credits which were put on some cards we were given. We started with the go-carts. This was a fun attraction that we did a few times. We didn't need to show our cards at all for this. Then we decided to spend the majority of the time in the arcade. After we racked up some points/tickets we cashed in. This is where the associate took our cards to get our points. After we got our prizes we waited at the counter for a moment but he never gave us our cards back, and we couldn't tell which ones were ours anyway because he had put not only our cards but about 10 others all in a pile behind the counter. So we decided to go to laser tag. The line for laser tag was long, as we waited for about 45 minutes. Our 3 hours were about to expire by the time we finally reached the entrance gate. The associate said we need our cards to proceed. I told him I thought the wristbands were to give us unlimited access but he said he didn't know anything about the wristbands and that he needed the cards. I explained the situation to him about how our cards were taken and not returned. He shrugged and said we'd have to come back with cards. I told him our time would run out and we wouldn't be able to do laser tag if we left and had to go through the line again, but he again shrugged and just said that he was sorry. We were very disappointed and left the line. None of us wanted to wait in line for another 45 minutes, and we didn't want to pay for another 3 hours or credits.
Very frustrating that we were sabotaged. Why do some attractions require the card and others just the wristband? Why was none of this explained? If the card is what holds all the information, why give us wristbands? Very upset about the way it was handled as well. Unfortunately we'll just go somewhere...
Read moreI took my grandsons there on Saturday May 14. We bought our tickets, then went to grab a bite to eat really quick. There were two cashiers, one was waiting on party guess the other was waiting on regular gas. The party line emptied and there were still probably 10 people in line in the regular guest line. The party person walked away and said I can’t help you I’m only doing parties. Rather rudely. The other cashier finished up with a guest in front of me then walked away without a word. I could see the young people in the kitchen area just standing there chatting. They may have been getting instructions I don’t know. Not one of them acknowledged that there was a line not one of them said I’ll be right with you not one of them looked up at any of us. I walked up to the counter and waved someone over. I asked if anyone was actually ever going to wait on the line. She said I guess I can help you now. Rather rudely. I placed our order and we waited for 20 minutes for the food to come out. They brought out the two pan pizzas and not the chicken. I asked for the chicken she said let me check. Another 10 minutes goes by and she says you didn’t order chicken. I said yes I did, so somebody else screwed up my order. She said, you didn’t pay for it. Then walked away. The boys finished their pizza and she walked back out and said they’re cooking your chicken now. I said I don’t want it. I asked for a manager four times. They never got him. Finally after 45 minutes of rudeness a manager like person came over. Just told me they were busy, and that was it. Worst birthday date for my grandchild ever. He did add an hour onto the time since we had spent so much time in the cafeteria. Then the boys get in line for the bumper boats, and they shut the bumper boats down. Not because it’s not working, wouldn’t give a reason. So we spent 20 minutes in line for a ride that we didn’t get on, and 45 in the cafeteria and we didn’t get half the food. $150 flush down the toilet thanks so much for a great Saturday! I hope you realize...
Read moreI recently visited with my kids and was extremely disappointed. We purchased a 4-hour pass, but due to poor operations, we barely got to enjoy our time.
After waiting forever for the go carts, my kids were only able to take one slow starting speed loop before They stopped the ride for one child to get off because the mom asked the attendant she said they needed to leave🤦♀️ it made the employee push all the unused cars forward and slowly bringing the cars back in to the start , then he made everyone switch seats moving them forward which took an additional 30 minutes on top of the original line wait 🤦♀️ so to ride this one ride was we waited over an hour. This delay caused my son to be late for work and ultimately docked😞
Throughout our visit, we constantly had to track down employees for ride assistance, (they said they didn’t have enough out door staff this day ) which added to the frustration and wait. When we tried to redeem our tickets for a prize , the staff kept and lost our cards, I asked for them back and she goes oh did you have the 4hr pass and I go yes. She said she will help us and would be right back then walked into the back room and didn’t come Back. The other employees were helping other customers with getting their prizes and wouldn’t assist us so we waited another 30 minutes for help to get our cards back. Overall, we spent most of our time waiting rather than enjoying the rides, effectively using only about an hour of our pass.
When I spoke to the manager about the issues, all I received was an apology and said he’d bring it up in staff training with no effort to make things right. For the $40 per person we spent it was not worth it. I will definitely choose other places like Rush Funplex in the future, where the experience is much better. Avoid this place if you can! They should have given us an extra hour or something to make this right especially because we lost so much time to them keeping the cards at the...
