There are plenty of courts and usually you should have no trouble getting a court to play on. The drop-in price has increased to $17 as of May this year, so keep that in mind. I prefer USBA in Livermore since the courts are nicer, but this place has a nostalgia factor for me since I trained here in HS.
Update: The membership price is currently $1300. Pretty steep for having facilities that are subpar and have no air-conditioning whatsoever, but it is what it is. Read moreThe majority of the courts are booked from either 6 to 8 pm or 6 to 9 pm by school kids for training, significantly reducing the enjoyment of the sport and causing frustration, as it's nearly impossible to play for an uninterrupted hour due to others vying for court reservations. The reservation system is quite rudimentary, lacking the option to easily secure the next available court. Considering these inconveniences, I would not advise spending $20 on this experience.
