We ordered a cake for my wife's 50th birthday from Satvik Bakery after evaluating 3-4 vendors. This was a highly anticipated part of the celebration, especially for our daughter, who was thrilled about the design and the surprise element. The bakery required full payment of $220 upfront, which we were fine with.
However, when we picked up the cake, things began to go downhill. The cake seemed fine initially, but by the time we got home (less than 10 minutes away), it had started to melt. We have ordered many cakes over the years, and this was the first time we experienced such an issue. We immediately put it in the refrigerator to try and salvage it.
When it came time to cut the cake, my wife somehow managed to get one whole piece, but when we began cutting it for our guests, the cake completely collapsed and crumbled. There were no solid pieces, just a mess of crumbled cake, leaving us feeling embarrassed and disappointed. To make matters worse, the flavor was supposed to be tiramisu, but it was barely noticeable.
The next day, my daughter sent pictures and shared our feedback with the bakery. It's been over two weeks, and we still haven't heard back. The lack of response is incredibly disappointing and shows a lack of concern for customer service.
In short, the cake ruined what should have been a memorable 50th birthday celebration. I would not recommend this bakery, and neither would any of my guests who witnessed...
   Read moreMy last visit was in Jan 30, 2025 @8:00 PM. Saatvik's customer service has gone down very low in the past few months. There is this guy with glasses at the counter and he treats customer with disrespect. He even lied to me about the cake prices. I needed an urgent cake order and he said the cake will be small but it will cost around $50. All standard birthday cakes are not that high.
I have been ordering birthday cakes from Saatvik since it reopened in 2023. There used to be a girl at the reception and she really spoke and handled her customers well and also was honest.
This guy with the glasses need to be removed, if not Saatvik is going to lose its customers one by one.
In fact I was hesitant at first and thought its just my bad experience but going through the recent reviews on google I see that many have faced the same experience especially with the guy in glasses.
These days whenever I think of stopping at Saatvik for a snack or even recommend eagles cakes for friends I am hesitant and don't want to.

He makes the customers wait for a long time and doesnât bother until he finishes his own work at the store! He feels too entitled to serve the customers and will only serve you if he is done with his work !!! Else you will just do all the work for him ! If they are understaffed then he should be polite and upfront about it instead of âbossingâ around all the customers and giving a lot of attitude for the service we are paying them to do.
