We recently attended a birthday party at Earl Anthony's Dublin Bowl on a Sunday evening, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The venue wasn't overly crowded, which made for a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. The staff was accommodating, ensuring that our group had everything we needed for the celebration.
The food offerings were a highlight. We ordered fries, vegetarian pizza, and cheese pizza—all of which were served hot and fresh. The quality exceeded our expectations for typical bowling alley fare, and both kids and adults enjoyed the meal.
One aspect of the party package is the scheduling: they allocate one hour for bowling followed by one hour for dining. While this structure works well for some, we found ourselves reminiscing about a previous party at another venue where the two-hour timeframe allowed for continuous play, with food served simultaneously. This setup gave the kids the flexibility to eat and play at their own pace, which seemed to enhance their enjoyment. It might be worth considering a similar format to provide more playtime and a more relaxed dining experience.
Overall, Earl Anthony's Dublin Bowl offers a solid option for birthday celebrations, with attentive service and quality food. A slight adjustment to the party schedule could make the experience even better for energetic kids eager to maximize their playtime.

Read moreThis place is garbage. I bought a water out of the vending machine. And SECURITY asked be 4 times if I bought it at the bowling alley. Then he made me get up and show him exactly where I got it from ??? Are you serious? The lady who works the front counter is seriously rude too. Every time we come here (every Sunday for the past couple months) she always cuts me off when I'm talking. She takes her sweet time doing other things like cleaning or talking to co workers while people are waiting in line. Security will literally follow you everywhere if you look under 30. He just stares and followed us around the whole time. (We are all between 24-29) we are adults. He literally follows us to our car and waits until we leave. How weird is that ??? And if that doesnt make you uncomfortable. Well the bar does. Again. Ive been going here for a few months. And I understand asking for an ID. You're supposed to. But my boyfriend (who is 26) asked for a sprite. Just a sprite. And the bartender qpuls t give it to him unless he had ID. I'm so sick of the shotty workers here. Dont go here. ESPECIALLY if you are under 30. Because they will literally follow you to your car when you leave. Such a shirty experience ....
Read moreMy girlfriend and I were just beginning our 2nd game when the man who probably invented bowling takes the lane next to us. We were doing our thing when he sternly tells my girlfriend and I the proper etiquette of how we shouldn't throw our balls at the same time. He was cool about it at first, but then decided to add salt to an open wound and rant to me about how "they don't teach people this" blah blah blah "peripheral vision," and then, the cherry on top, he says, "it's just common sense," and then walks away.
My brother in Christ. You are 500 years old, wearing a sports bowling shirt, waxing your ball before each throw, bowling by yourself (and he wasn't even that good tbh.) News flash: You are at a public bowling alley where people who have a life outside of bowling go to enjoy themselves. I'm sure this guy spends half of his weekend bowling and the other half lecturing beginners. Go build your own bowling lane with your 401k and leave amateurs alone.
TLDR; Warning to amateurs: there may be elitists here. The staff was pretty cool tho, and this guy gave me a high five when we found a good ball for my gf. :)
P.S. I...
