Dr. Zhu is a very competent doctor, who practices the true, traditional form of the science and art of Chinese Medicine. I have been a patient of Dr. Zhu, for many years, for both dried herbs and acupuncture. I am healthier, have more energy, and have more mental focus, memory, and alertness now than I had when I was 20 years younger.

Dr. Zhu was University trained in China. Traditional Chinese Medicine approaches health and the prevention of disease in a different way, and Dr. Zhu knows the inner art of the true science. It all begins with the diagnostic system that is used in Chinese medicine (pulse and tongue being the most important). Dr. Zhu will spend the time with you, and pick up on things that a “managed care 15-minute appointment western doctor” would not even know about.

Dr. Zhu also practices with the highest standards. In the last 2 years, he has shown me the raw herbs packaging with the organic label and (sometimes) “USDA organic” certification. Dr. Zhu now uses organic herbs (from China) whenever they are practically available to him. He mostly stocks raw herbs that you boil yourself. I have more trust in the raw herbs - more trust in raw herbs than in pills, which would come from Chinese compounding pharmacies. Be aware: it takes time & work to prepare herbs, and they taste like something that I shouldn’t write here. But when your health is ideal, you will feel like it’s all worth it.
