Excellent!! I have stayed around the area for two weeks now in between moving out of my old place and into my new. Have stayed at three hotels, and this holiday inn, hands down, has been the best. I have been here for three nights and the staff has been different each of the nights, but all were equally as accommodating, patient, and efficient. The hotel is so super clean, the rooms are secure, (as you need a key card in the elevator to access the floors to the rooms), and the rooftop resturaunt was really beautiful. JARVIS- front desk angel, definitely is the employee that stood out the most- he went above and beyond for me for almost four hours due to complications with a third party booking site. The site did not send over the payment information in order for me to check in to my room- Jarvis, while taking care of other guests checking in too, called the third party site support number on my behalf to try and help me out because I was getting no where with them when I called. He spent at least 20 minutes on the phone in total with these scammers sticking up for me and pushing to get things moving. Mean while, I spent so much time in the lobby, I witnessed the constant phone calls coming in from potential guests who would call to ask questions about rates and such- just to argue about the information given to them. Nothing Jarvis states was unreasonable or not making sense- people just seemed to want to give him a hard time. I was impressed by Jarvis’ ability to remain calm, patient, and professional while juggling so many guests. There is no way I would have been able to remain so calm. Sky is another, I am not going to get into the details of how accommodating she was for me, as I do not want other guests to try and take advantage of the kindness the hotel staff provided. Antonio and Yolanda are also incredible. I was dealing with personal issues that impacted specific arrangements for my stay- and both Yolanda and Antonio were understanding, listened to what I had to say, and allowed me to handle what I needed to handle, and were 100% courteous and polite when speaking to me about the situation. If having a stellar staff who offers impressive accommodations and hospitality, is important to you when staying at a hotel, this is where you’ll find it. The staff here made me realize that what I thought was good service at previous hotels, was sub par at best. Thank you!! This has been a rough couple of weeks and you managed to make it a little easier on me.
Jarvis-I haven’t forgotten about you! It will be prior to the...
Read moreHosted my 25 year old twins bday party on the rooftop of Spice and Sky located in the Holiday Inn - Perimeter, and I could not be happier how the event turned out. The weather last night on the roof top was so perfect and everyone truly enjoyed being out witnessing the sunset and seeing the Atlanta skyline from there. Marquita along with Ashley turned my vision into the most incredible presentation that definitely delivered the WOW factor and exceeded my expectations. Sam the bartender made the most AMAZING MOJITOS, that all of the guests could not get enough of, so glad that was our Signature drink. Everything at the bar was so smooth and visibly welcoming to the guests and that was all due to Amanda and Sam’s eye for details. Ms Winnie, the kitchen/catering manager professionally over saw the food prep and display and not only was the food delicious, our guests commented how they appreciated the right temperature and freshness of the food choices which the staff kept available in the serving dishes. Jerome, the IT/tech expert hooked us up, by streaming our playlists thru the hotel’s sound system as well as the sports displayed on the outside TV. That gave the party the right vibe. Vee and Derrick at the front desk were so supportive and attentive to our needs because I also, booked 2 of the King suites for my children to stay the night after an fantastic bday party! Take the elevator home is the hotel’s slogan for guests who party hardy! (LOL) Going to their beautiful/large suites with a few friends was the perfect (and safe) way to end the perfect day. This was the best money spent for memories that my adult children will remember a lifetime. Great food & drinks, spacious clean hotel rooms/suites, a beautiful roof top, professional and accommodating staff and the pricing was very reasonable. I will certainly consider this hotel/venue for future events and so should you! Marilyn - Hunt &...
Read moreThe front desk lady was so Rude and disrespectful toward me. Her name is Ashley. Ashley can use some "smiles" in front of guests and be more accommodating toward her guest. Ashley may not know that I spent over 2000 per month on hotel stays and I'm their value client as Diamond status with IHG member. I was going to stay just one night at my upgraded room. I decided to stay one more night so I made an online reservation. When I asked her that I would like to stay in the same room possible with my upgraded room. Rather than accommodating my needs, she accused of me that I intentionally get the online rate of a regular room and cheating to get an upgrade... It was a very embarrassing moment and I could not move all my belonging to a downgraded room so I told her again I would like to stay in the same room. She gave me a new receipt that showed a much higher rate because Ashley would not honor for me to stay in the same room. I would be happy to move all my stuff to a downgraded room but I had to leave for my work. I asked Ashley can you change my rate to what I paid online. She immediately responds "I have to give it to my manager Steve, and only he can do that", again very Rude manner. I have never been treated this badly at hotel stays ever before. Ashley needs to smile more and have empathy for her guests. She needs to understand that to hotel guests, customer service is everything and makes sure work on all guests are Happy and Satisfied. Especially, if that guest is very loyal to IHG group. Hope she does not do that to other guests that is why I writing...
