I bought third floor tickets to see Brantley Gilbert online thru ticketmaster in august 2019. The show was amazing, but When I was shown to my seat by a casino employee, he proceeded to rudely inform me that the third floor was 'VIP' seating and he did not know how I managed to buy my way in there. He told me that I was not welcome to any of the food or drinks that were available in the section because they were all for 'VIP guests who had been given wrist bands'.
When I asked the gentleman where I could buy a coke and some snacks since I could not get them in my section, he informed me that it was not his problem, and walked off! If the third floor is supposed to be just 'CASINO VIP'S' then why was I able to buy a ticket online for it??
Frankly, I was treated like trash at a concert that I bought tickets for months in advance. Brantley was sensational, but I will never go back to this casino. I watched the whole concert without anything to eat or drink, and frankly it took me months after my experience to be able to give a calm and rational review without just trashing the whole place.
The casino devour: 10 out of 10 The show: 10 out of 10 The service: 4 out of 10 [and i only give it that high a score because the people I talked to on the ground floor to ask for...
Read moreOnce again. Came up from South Padre Island for my Definitely Extremely Better Halfs birthday. This time for Joe Bonamassa. We have now seen two different shows at this fabulous venue. JoanJett and Night Ranger put on a show that demonstrates that old rockers can still get the job done without breaking a hip!!! Joe, being a child prodigy plays at an entirely different level than any of his current contemporaries period! Drinks are not cheap but cost half of any venue in my hometown of Las Vegas. No doubt. This property brings in some great talent.. I'm looking forward to seeing my hometown heroes, Five Finger Death Punch when they ride into Oklahoma.. The 9 hour drive is well worth the time. Besides, South Padre Island ain't got nothing even close to this level of talent. Minus a Starship launch.. Of course!! Y'all keep bringing the Good Stuff... We will continue to utilize your property. Plotted. Scouts Out. BattleBorn.. P.S. I lost my voice for 2 days after this show. Now that's leaving everything...
Read moreThese folks have built an exceptional music hall. For 2 hrs+ Joe Bonamasa showed how he is this generation's heir to Eric Clapton. The 11 piece band was very tight and professional. Sound used the "WOW!" house speakers as well as some of Joe's collection of vintage speakers on stage. The resulting sound was very powerful but very clear at all sound ranges. Every seat in this 3000 seat venue is a good seat, although your best vision is from a seat in the riser tiers, not the closer floor seats as they are not quite pitched enough to see over the tall guy wearing a cowboy hat in front of you, plus the floor section audience has a habit of standing a lot. If you want to stand and boogie buy a 300 tier seat...300 level has a big open "SRO" floorspace on both ends and a reasonably priced bar tucked in the middle. There were a few couples rockin the Lindy Hop up there towards the end. This was our first concert here...we...
