Italia Kitchen — Restaurant in Durant

Tonight we came to the pizza place at the casino and Donovan really made our night! We ordered a separate order from our friends and went to run somewhere. We got a phone call from our friends saying that our food was ready and that the guy said we had TWO MINUTES or he was throwing out pizza away…we are literally running through the casino to try and get to our food and we get up there and he goes “JUST KIDDING GUYS” and honestly it was just a really heart warming moment. It’s nice to see employees/mangers able to still have fun in the work environment! He was so kind and I’m so thankful that we choose to eat here tonight!! I don’t know why I thought this would be worth a try but went for it anyway. Meatball sub, about $18.50 with tax. I asked for mozz instead of provolone. The meatballs themselves weren’t bad, but the complete lack of sauce and really salty cheese made for a bad sandwich. Easily the worst meatball sandwich I’ve ever had, possibly the most expensive too. Subway does it better, and I hate Subway. I should’ve gone for the chicken tender place next...

I was in the mood for pizza. I asked the lady at the counter how the pizza was and she showed a piece of dough to me to indicate the size. I told her that I meant to ask if the pizza was good.
