As I walk in excited to see a movie with my family little did I know the man working the front counter would take that all away. His name was John. He was so rude. I walked up to purchase my tickets and he is sitting there with no customers I ask for 4 tickets to Rampage he askes if I am paying with cash or card. I say card. He then says RUDELY you can use the machine to purchase tickets we dont accept card here. Im like ok is this new because I always just purchase here and he replies with yea sorry we dont take card here so you have to use the machine if you any questions you can ask for help thank you. (Again that was said rudely with a smirk) now mind you I come here every other week So whatever I go to the machine... Im having some trouble so I ask for help.. He seems bothered that he has to help... He walks over and doesn't even help just stands there and tells me what to do he sees me struggling you think he would step in and help me with the machine. Instead he walks away and helps the next customer in line. Now guess what... The customers are paying with a card!! Im like excuse me you just told me you couldnt accept card and he ignored me and laughed. I asked the customers who paid if they used a card to confirm and they said yes. Ok now is when I ask for his name and he tells me its John. Again with a smirk. I ask another employee to speak with a manager. No I still haven't purchased the tickets. So the manager comes. Her name is Vanity. I tell her what just went on and she rings up my tickets so I dont have to use the stupid machine and all she has to say is I'll speak with him. I wonder if shes even going to. She doesn't seem to really care about how Im feeling, doesn't offer a apology not even a free popcorn maybe for her rude ass employee. So whatever I'm livid at this point my children are wondering whats going on all they wanna do is watch the movie so whatever I let it go and go into the movie. Now look it already started. Whatever we watch it. Great movie. Now when walking out I just couldnt stop thinking about what had happen so I asked to speak with a manager again. And now I have two women name Angelica and Chloe. So I explain to them what happen as well. They apologized but I still dont think that was enough. John should be fired for the way he treated me and my family. My 5 and 7 year old had to witness such a nasty attitude from him. Vanity needs a update on being a manager. AMC should be ashamed to have them as a employee. The manger wouldn't give us her name but she opened today Sunday, February 11, 2018 (dark skinned with dreads and glasses) and a nasty rude DISRESPECTFUL little white girl!!!!!!! Myself nd my husband deal with people all day long and no matter what have never disrespected nor have been extremely nasty or rude to CUSTOMERS!!!! We came early thinking the movie was at 10 because that's what the fandango ticket said...That was our fault no problem but then the little white girl came charging at us screaming we couldn't be in here because they don't open until 10:30! And it's a security risk and get out now!!! Meanwiles there was a crowed of children with parents maybe a party in the lobby and the mall has people walking around it. And not for nothing there is a way to talk to people. There was no reason why she should be yelling nor Charing at us!!!! So we went to walk out and the manager and the employee were still being rude and nasty and laughing! When we returned at 1030 I asked to speak with a manager come to find out the lady who was being nasty rude and disrespectful with her employee was the manager...I have never encountered anything like this and my own mother has never even spoke to me like this.... I will be calling AMC offices about this and will let everyone know not to spend their money here ever!!!! Guess that is what happens when you hire high school children!!!!! Read moreI checked the movie schedule online, drove my son to the theater at 2 PM for 2:15 PM "guardians of the galaxy 2" (standard). At the ticket counter, the lady (ticket seller) told me that there was only 3D for 2:15, standard would be 2:45 PM. I was confused why what she said was different from the website. I asked:" Are you sure?", she said "yes". I didn't want my son to wait long time, bought the 3D ticket for 2:15 PM as the lady said.
I asked how long it would last, she said "2 hours 30 mins". I went to pick up my son at 4:50 PM, 2 hours 35 mins past. I didn't see my son. I called him, no response. He still did show up at 5 PM, I called again, no response. I asked the lady who sit on the entrance for checking ticket when the movie started at 2:15 would be over? She checked and told me "there was no 2:15 PM 3D, only 2:35 PM 3D movie". I was confused completely. The lady checked with the counter lady, and told me "it should be finish at 5:05 to 5:15". I waited, but no one came out at 5:15 PM. I asked the lady at the counter, she told me "The movie was over at 5:05, it is empty, no one inside now". I was shocked, asked her" where is my son?". She didn't do anything. I called my son again, this time he answered, told me he was still in the theater, the movie had just ended. My son came out at 5:20 PM. I found out that the movie actually had started at 2:45 PM, not 2:15 PM as the ticket seller told us. I checked the ticket, it was clearly printed "2:45 PM". The tickect seller lied to us. I really don't know why she lied. Either she didn't know the schedule, or she intentionally misled us to buy more expensive 3D ticket....
