This shopping plaza is located in a convenient shopping corridor along Route 18 North in East Brunswick NJ and is near US 1 and many County roads. There's been a recent turnover in some of the larger stores. Notably the bankruptcy of Sports Authority had impacted the center, but it is now occupied by Huffman Koos. More specifically, it is one of their larger facilities acting as an outlet center for this large furniture retailer.
There appears to be an element of surprise or confusion shrouding this shopping plaza. Especially when looking at home it is listed amongst the amenities on Google Maps. I am going to try to get the point across that this location is a collection of individual stores in open air and outdoors setting. It is not a mall in the sense of a facility like the Mall of America, but rather a group of distinct stores sharing a common parking lot. There is no common or shared amenities such as rest rooms, benches, play area for kids or a food court. In other words, it's a mall in name only. I hope you have found this helpful and I will answer any questions you may have. If you will be so kind as to indacte your rating below, it will help guide me in writing more reviews in...
Read moreI am a 75-year-old person who can't walk the aisles of any supermarket and require a mobility scooter add ShopRite at Mid-State Mall in East Brunswick has never had available mobility scooters that retain charges to their batteries and I've complained every time I've gone there. Today I went there for two items and they had zero charged up mobility scooters with the basket I asked the manager to help me get the items and they did that was very nice of them they brought him to the front I paid for them and because I can't walk with unbagged I know I asked for the bag and they actually charged me $0.35 even though they had no available charged up mobility scooters for me to shop myself. I told them I'm never coming back to the supermarket again the woman told me that this is a very nice ShopRite and can provide all the groceries you need. I told her it's not the groceries I care about or I wouldn't be here it's the mobility scooters you can't provide an opportunity for me to shop I am not coming here anymore and I will spread the word to any disability senior...
Read moreI feel funny giving this a five-star experience but I have my reasons LOL I mean it is what it is. We are expecting something special just because it has five stars the only thing special that I can come up with as there's usually a police officer present oh, Franks has really good pizza, ShopRite is a really full ShopRite as opposed to a tiny one oh, there's a Best Buy for electronics and a liquor store. I'm not sure what else people would need LOL I guess a pet store but that is also available. Additionally and oddly this is my absolute favorite place to look for Pokemon. If that's something you're into I would say that if I canvassed the entire parking lot which takes only about five minutes there would be about a 50% chance that I would have at least one Shiny Pokemon LOL it's an especially great place to go during an event and pass through once or twice! I guess Pokemon enjoy...
