The workers here are the absolute rudest staff I have ever met in my life. I went to return two pairs of shoes and did not have a receipt. The lady who checked me out was evidently annoyed that she had to help me in the first place. We found a receipt with my email, and she asked for my ID for store credit. I happened to leave my ID at home, and she rolled her eyes and said she would return it to the original card the shoes were charged on. She was highly confusing. She asked me again if she could charge it back on the card. I asked her if I could do that without using my ID, and she said, “You just said you didn’t have it, did you not?” which I responded with “what” The worker claimed I needed to relax and was being “short” with her after being extraordinarily unhelpful and disrespectful towards me. She asked her coworker next to her if she would check me out because she couldn’t “deal with this right now.” out of pure frustration and anxiety, I started laughing because I felt so targeted and uncomfortable. The woman who was checking out next to me called me an “untitled little bi**h” for laughing, and the worker checking me out looked her in the eye and said thank you. I was near tears at this point. I asked if their manager was around to help me, and a worker looked at me and said, “I’m right here.” The fact that the manager watched this encounter happen and proceeded to do nothing about it blows my mind. Read moreI'm putting this review just for the fact that Casey who works there has the worst customer service I've seen, I ordered a pair of shoes online to pick up in store, dsw web page says pick up within 2 hours, cool. I showed up at about 2 hours to ask if my order was ready, I was helped by another employee, said order wasn't ready and she needed to go look for the shoe, okay no problem I'll wait, she came back could find it, said to wait more ad then went looking. Enter Casey who came to me with the biggest attitude "listen I understand it says 2 hours but we're busy you have to wait for the email" I said okay no problem, my bad. The other girl found the shoe, gave it to Casey, Casey slams the shoe on the counter and then mutters something under her breath towards me. I'd understand if I showed up 10 minutes after I placed the order.....I showed up 2 hours and the shoe wasn't even behind the register...what if someone came and bought it? The female associate became argumentative and said they’ve obviously been worn. I told her I purchased them like this after trying them in the store. She mentioned that the associate that rang me up originally should have noted that on the receipt. How and why would I know that? The floors in this store are visibly dirty and covered with debris, there’s no surprise the shoes looked like this. I will never come back to this DSW again. They refused to return my money, and after a lot of back and forth gave me store credit. I will not be using this at this store. I’d rather drive 30 minutes further than receive the treatment I had here. Such a shame because the woman who rang me up originally provided the polar opposite experience.
