They did move this one. It's now located next to Dairy Queen. I do like the new setup. They did aff some stuff from the chapter store, which they changed to "academics." As I was informed. I do miss the dude who worked in the original downtown one. He was cool. I just wish they would make it easier to navigate with their collections in the three locations.
One location would have all the arts. Now music is in one of the buildings at the main location, film is still in the chapter store, art is in the barn BUT graphic novels, comics and such are still in the downtown location. There are endless rows and shelves of books within multiple buildings, rooms, and floors. All of the books were extremely affordable and any I got were gently used. We ended up coming home from vacation with about 40 books! (Not intended but I couldn't not!) Parking here wasn't bad but one of the other ones we stopped at, we were parking way down the road to get there. We are from NJ and have never seen a book store like this. While we always pick up an extra cookbook, or a book on comparative religion, or some treatise on boat building, we honestly go for the $1 science fiction/fantasy section. It is a dream come true to walk out with 50 paperbacks for $50. Due to the closeness of the military base there is a great turnover in books. That means something new every time we go in!
