If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I never write reviews but PLEASE avoid them, I am only writing this to help people avoid being in a similar situation. We arrived at our property late, it was horrendous and completely mis sold. They advertised it for 8 people, it only slept 6, the doors didn’t lock so anyone could walk in, there was a smashed window and glass everywhere. The property was also damp. We have two asthmatic people in our family including a child. To top it off we had no hot water and we were left without hot water for almost 24 hours, with two young children, the company were completely unresponsive not offering an on call plumber, no resolution at all. I had to chase so many times to get a solution which took 16 hours. As if a company of this size, doesn’t have on call maintenance staff?!
They eventually told us that the property had maintenance issues and we would need to vacate immediately. When I said I would vacate it later in the day because our vacation had already been ruined by them and I wasn’t leaving our day out early for them, I was told they would charge me for an extra night. Absolutely unbelievable. After being up all night trying to speak to someone there to get a basic amenity reinstated so we could you know, wash, they wanted me out immediately that second with no consideration!
I was blamed for it being for 6 guests and not 8, laughable! Apparently it was my fault for not reading how many rooms there were, of course like anyone would, I was fully expecting a sofa bed in the living room, and then the three bedrooms to sleep the 8 guests it was advertised for! One of our party had to sleep on the floor for the night we were there. All my fault that they mis sold it! At one point I was also told by a member of the customer care team that ‘sleeps 8’ means that 8 people can visit the property at one time, it doesn’t mean they can stay. I know, it gets more ridiculous!
They offered an alternative property 2 HOURS away from where we were staying with family we hadn’t seen for two years and stated that I wouldn’t need to worry about paying the extra for the better house. Like that was my responsiblity!
When I said no to the property as it was unreasonable for them to offer one two hours away and I wanted a full refund including the night where we had no water and insufficient beds immediately so I could book us somewhere because we were now essentially homeless, they refused to refund me the night we had stayed! Despite admitting liability for an uninhabitable property! I had to really fight to get my full refund including that initial night.

Read moreThis is a very nice house with high-end touches throughout including wireless charging nightstands in the master bedroom, mikasa dishes in the kitchen, and starbucks coffee pods. This house has beautifully designed bathrooms with waterfall showerheads that everyone was talking about. We were very impressed by the kitchen being stocked so well. They had everything we needed for thanksgiving. (we did bring out own roasting pan). The pool was the selling point for us since we have 4 kids and we were pretty disappointed that the heat wasn't turned on or the pool cleaned before our arrival. I inquired in june about the availability of heating the pool since we were coming in november. They verified for me and said that was available. When we arrived it was not heated. I texted with the management company and went back and forth determining that we needed to pay for heating. I had no idea that i needed to do this since no one had told me that 5 months earlier when i inqured about it. I paid the fee and it was turned on the next day, but only because i was persistent. We all felt that the owner had done a fabulous job with this house and that the management company needs to pay more attention to the little details and communicate better when it comes to heating the pool. Read moreExcellent, supportive, professional management by VACASA. Clean, comfortable, relaxing, good location, rental house. Upon entering the house we found a sparkling clean rental house. Since the beginning and during our stay we experienced how comfortable the house was as well, it has all what is needed and more. The kitchen is spacious and its supplies are great, the pool is wonderful, and so is the desk/office room. The house offers a very good location, close to great supermarkets, close enough to Mercato with all its nice restaurants and the Whole Foods supermarket, close (10 minutes drive) to the Vanderbilt beach and close enough to downtown Naples as well. The house is managed by VACASA which offers 24/7 great customer service and assistance if needed. The VACASA representative, Ms. MANDY, provided us excellent professional customer service that made us felt very supportive, happily, during our stay all run very smoothly.
