I like to come to this walgreen very much. It is close to my home and has a complete range of products. The young employees are very enthusiastic and polite and can meet my daily shopping needs and products. But what I experienced in this store today made me regret coming to this store. I came to this store to shop in the morning and paid more than 60 US dollars by credit card. Their machine produced a few RR coupons. I went to buy some items at noon, and the face value of the items I used was much smaller than the face value of the items I purchased. My RR in the morning was treated coldly and rejected by my supervisor, who told me that I could only use one RR worth 3 US dollars a day. This was suspected of violating their rules. Regarding the abuse of power stipulated by the company, I asked them where they had such regulations and where was it written on the RR? They said there might be small words on the price tag, but I didn't see it when I looked. So, I can’t use and buy products that their company sends me weekly discount notifications, and spend too much money to buy products without discounts? Read moreI felt compelled to write this review because for such a short interaction this place left a rotten impression on me.
My family and I walked in and didn't receive a greeting but noticed that the customer who came in immediately after us received a warm welcome.
Okay, I think the woman wasn't ready to greet us. Not a big deal.
We only needed to pick up some photos. We walk to the photo desk and wait a couple of minutes for somebody to help us. Eventually, the same woman who neglected to welcome us asks what we need brusquely and after we tell her we are picking up photos she just says we have to pick them up at the front with her.
We go to pay, and she throws the photos on the counter at us. She is really giving a bad vibe like she doesn't wasn't us to be there nor does she want to help us.
It's very strange. I'm confused, really don't know why she was behaving that way toward us.
In the end, we didn't even receive all the photos we ordered to be printed. They missed printing a couple of pictures for us that we needed for my baby's first family photo album. So we will need to go get those printed again, preferably elsewhere. Such a shame since this was the closest printing...
Read moreWalked in to their photo department and there was a young lady by the name of Lisa that took care of me and was able to extract a photo and make me a 4x6 copy of that photo in need. Not only was I in and out in a about 8 minutes, I was able to deliver it to Pasadena way before I was due. Made a lot of people's day including mine. Wow!! That is customer service at it's best!! Oh! Did I mention that she even smiled the whole time. Made my experience so much more pleasant. Just saying. So, the moral of my story is that if a lot more people would treat their customers with a smile....a lot more people would pass it on and on and on.
