False Advertising and there should be an option for no stars!!
I purchased a "worrynomore" protection from Macy's back on 4-16-2009 and if you didn't file a claim within 7 years I would have a $375.00 Macy's Credit. I think worrynomore is a separate entity of Macy's, but they furniture specialist sold me this, so I hold Macy's responsible. I even have this guy's business card. I wonder if he still works at Macy's. I kept everything they gave me as I was skeptical about their claims. Well now they are saying you have to call within 90 days at the 7 year mark (by July 16 2016). There is no verbiage that states this 90 days limit and it is convenient for the person on the phone to say there such a thing or actually read it to me. Why is there a limit, because they know no one will remember or too many were collecting their credit. I would have remembered because now I am livid as I have been waiting for the day to collect my store credit and they moved the goal post. Don't buy anything from Macy's! Especially this protection agreement. Maybe the name the protection agreement should be "rememberyouwillnot". I am cancelling my Macy's card that I have had since 1998 and never shopping here again. I will tell everyone I know and hopefully they...
Read moreEmployees do no know their store! I visited same store 2 days in a row and was misdirected by a count of 8!!! Employees as to where various items where located. One even told me that they don't have women's suits separates. I was sent upstairs, then back downstairs, then upstairs, etc... finally, (one employee, Karen, whom in my opinion deserves a bonus and an assigned parking space), helped me. With a walking cast boot on her foot she escorted me back downstairs and took me to the coat department. Come on Macys!!! Walmart employees are tested on knowledge of store layout and product location. Car sales professionals have to walk the lot to be familiar with inventory! It's a standard in sales and professionalism! Get it together! Visiting your store should be a wonderful experience. If you are losing foot traffic, there may be more than online competition and covid restrictrictions that keep customers from walking through...
Read moreIf I could give the customer service zero stars I would. I went to Macy's located in monmouth on 11/17/21 and bought a coach wallet down stairs in the backstage area. I got home and removed the tags so I could use it I realized the wallet wasn't usable. I returned the next day explained the situation to Amy the cashier that after removing the tag I realized the purse wasn't usable. She then proceeded to tell me that I needed the tags which us great and I used my Macy's card. As I was walking she said to me infront of all the customers not to take any of the other tags from the other purses that were part of the backstage area. She assumed I had stole the purse which I didn't and I drove home found the tags and receipt and came back to the store. I told her not to accuse me of stealing ever again and then she refuse to help me in getting my refund and denied accusing me of stealing. Never again...
