I had the worst experience I've ever had at this store. These people broke my watch and are extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend coming here to anyone! Story below.
I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs after calling and talking with someone that told me they replaced watch batteries. So I took in two watches the following day to get serviced. The associate couldn't figure out how to get one watch back off so I told her I would take it to a jeweler. The next watch was easier to open, and the associate began to try and pry my battery out of the watch. I looked on in horror as the entire movement of the watch was dislodged and popped up from the case. The associate ignored this and removed the old battery. She then put in a new battery, looked at the face of the watch and told me "Oh, well that didn't work. It must be something else." So she pulled out the new battery and put the old one back in. She handed me both watches and I exited the store. Once I actually got into my car I looked at the face of my watch in disbelief. Every hand on the face had be ripped off. I walked back into the store up to the associate who had just been serving me. I told her she had just broken my watch. To my disbelief she snapped back at me that she hadn't touched my watch! I couldn't believe it. At this point another associate told me that they would send it in to get it fixed. I gave them my contact information and as I handed the information and watch back to the woman she asked me how much my watch was worth. I told her $150-$200. She responded "You shouldn't have let me touch that!". I just couldn't believe it. If you didn't feel comfortable working on it you could've just told me. This is absolutely the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life. I hope that I can get this watch back fixed, but I have my doubts. I'll update this review with more information as the situation progresses.

After 4 months of calling and asking when my watch would be repaired I finally got "my" watch back. During the 4 months they lost my contact information and weren't able to figure out how to contact me. Extremely unprofessional. When I finally called to follow up, they told me my watch was ready to pickup. I went in, picked up the watch and once again got into my car and noticed something strange. This watch hadn't ever been worn before. The band was brand new and a different material than mine had been. They had simply taken the limited edition case back off of the broken watch and put it on a new one. I was frustrated by this because it's not limited edition anymore, but I knew I wouldn't be able to do anything even if I brought it up to them. So even though I got a new watch out of the whole situation they still lied and told me they fixed it. I just am so disgusted with this place and the customer service. I won't ever return to this shop or recommend it to anyone. If I need a watch battery replaced I found that Laskers can do it for basically the same price with a much higher level of professionalism. Batteries Plus Bulbs has hands down given me the worst customer experience I've ever had.

They refused to fix it and refused to take accountability of the poor job. Brought it to an actual Apple Store and then to MacMan where they confirmed my camera was NOT damaged and that it WAS their service that caused the issues. Brought it back to batteries plus and asked them to clean it. They still did a horrible job. Brought it to Macman they took total care of it.
Got my phone fixed 3 times before here. Came in for a 4th time and they repaired my screen. It locked itself while lagging out so had to bring it to an Apple Store to get it fixed. Went to set up my Face ID it wouldnât work they look at it and told me they could fix it but that I should bring it back to whoever did it and see if theyâll do it for free. I came back here pointed out the black residue over my lens. They refused to even acknowledge it at first. Man at the counter just kept saying âitâs a different censor it wouldnât work regardless youâre not getting a free repair out of me take it somewhere else.â. I was completely appalled and have had amazing service there usually so just waited til the guy I usually work with was back the next day. When I met with him the following morning he initially refused to take accountability. After arguing for 10 minutes he finally agreed to clean it or replace the camera Iâm thinking mainly because he just wanted me to stop talking. They cleaned the lense and imagine that my Face ID starts working again! I asked for my old screen back and took it to MacMan . (which I would 10000% recommend over this place in terms of quality and customer service!! They also use actual apple parts not the cheap low quality ones used here. Itâs 20$ more for much better service) where they verified that my camera was NOT damaged. I did NOT damage my camera when I dropped it and that THEY botched the job with whatever they use to seal the screen to make it water resistant. They showed me how it had been sloppily applied and because it was locked they werenât anle to check camera quality. Although they wouldâve blamed it on me regardless. Really horrible service would not recommend. Worst customer service Iâve ever experienced. Seems to be a common theme in the reviews.    Read moreIn all, since my phone isn't working properly anyways, I ordered the new parts and tools and doing it myself to see if that fixes the issue with the correct part. If not, I guess it is a new phone. Hopefully early next week I will have the parts. In short, I would like to change my review of Batteries Plus Bulbs to a negative 5 star review and I do not recommend the customer service at the Eau Claire store. I believe they are trying to avoid their service persons mistake of the breaking of the phone and then ordering and installing the incorrect part number for the model of phone. NOT A VERY HAPPY CAMPER!!! Update 3: 2/26....no communication from the store stating my new part came in so I emailed the store and didn't get a response. After waiting 3 hours for a response, I email corporate again and still waiting on response from them. Update 2...after a couple attempts to contact the Eau Claire store via email with no response, I emailed corporate customer service (2/21). On 2/22 the store replies to my email stating they will look into this and get back to me. After 9 hours, while doing research, I emailed them back and told them that they put the wrong part in my phone and it was not compatible per my communications with their parts supplier. On 2/23, I get another email stating the new part has been ordered and they will let me know when that comes in. Also on 2/23, I get an email from corporate customer service thanking me for taking the time to provide the valuable feedback on the store and the concern was logged at the corporate office and was forwarded to the franchise owner. Corporate also called Brian, the store manager. Update 1 (from 2/20)....the microphone doesn't work after having the charge port, battery and screen replaced. I can hear during calls but no one can hear me. Also, voice recorder nor Google Assistant can't hear me.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: On a good note, I got my phone back. New battery, new screen and new charging port (just like a brand new phone) for $95. Thanks to Batteries Plus Bulbs (Eau Claire) for the great customer service. When there was a little mishap, they corrected it beyond what was expected. If you are in need of a battery replacement for your phone, this is the place to go; whether iPhone or Android. CUSTOMER SERVICES IS RATED #1...
