My fiance bought my diamond engagement ring here. After he had given it to me I had noticed spill over of the rhodium they use to secure the diamond in place. He brought it back and they "fixed" it then he gave it back to me and i noticed right away that had not fixed the problem.
So the next time we went there we went together to look at wedding bands for him. I showed them the ring and the sales lady took it back and said we will clean it up right now and walked away with it. she brought it back a few minuets later and as soon as she handed it to me i saw that it still looked the same.
She said that it was supposed to be there to hold the diamond in place. I tried to explain to her it wasn't anywhere near the diamond and she got frustrated with me.
Another employee came over and he took the ring back and had it cleaned again and brought it back a while later and said yes there was some spill over and that the jeweler cleaned it up which by the third time they had.
Then the sales woman who originally took it in the first place said that I should have not worried about and it and "that will rub right off eventually". I was shocked. My fiance paid 7k for something to be done right the first time, not for something to "rub off." The whole time that sales woman was giving us attitude and was being completely disrespectful and rude. I am not impressed with the quality of work nor the education of the sales staff. When purchasing the diamond they did not even mention the flaws to my fiancee or let him look at them under a microscope. Also do not use them to engrave anything! they even say that their engraver is ancient. The engraving on my ring horrible. The lettering is different sizes and some of the letter are too close together and it's not even centered! My fiance feels like he failed me because he did not know any better. We will NOT be buying anything from...
Read moreWe have had a laundry list of problems, most of them related to the staff does not listen and is extremely pushy about what they think. First my fiancé went to get my engagement ring and told them what he thought my size was. They were pushy and had him size it down because of plans for proposal - no one sizes a ring down for hiking (your fingers swell). 2nd when I took it in to have sized up 3/4 of a size, they messed up my ring settings and design. When I took it back to have it fixed and then looked at, a woman got snotty with me and told me it would never be perfect. We went it to get wedding bands, they were so freaking pushy about soldering my rings before the wedding - I explained at least 10 times that I did not want to. I told them I wanted my bands ordered and not sized and did not care that they were showing up after the wedding. They rushed the order and now one of the bands is shaped different and does not match. They did not notice this until I pointed it out to them. Instead of just ordering a new, correct, band and letting me take the one that was correct; they sat there and told me to solder them and that would fix it at least 5 more times. Then they tried to fix it on the spot, made it worse. Told me again they are never going to match. Then refused to let me take them somewhere else. They now have all my rings and are trying to “fix” them. I would never go to this store. It has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had!!!!! They push and push and don’t own up to...
Read moreWe love Lasker Jewelers in Eau Claire.
Our 6 year old decided she was ready to have her ears pierced - but she was understandably nervous. Our first stop was a piercing shop - and we left before we made it through the consent form. Our daughter was scared. The person working with us didn’t do anything to help make her more comfortable or even talk to her on her level. When she changed her mind we were happy to leave. No sooner than we left, our daughter decided she was ready to try again and we knew we weren’t going back to the same place. Then we realized we could get her ears pierced at Lasker!
We’ve been going to Lasker for our jewelry for years and she has been in there with us on numerous occasions so she felt comfortable in the environment. We warned our daughter that we might need to make an appointment and come back another time but luckily they were able to help us right away. Pam and Natachaa were nothing short of AMAZING! They talked to our daughter at her level, they asked what she was nervous about and answered her questions. They made her laugh. She didn’t think twice about hopping up into the chair. They were able to pierce both ears at the same time and not a single tear was shed!
Long story short, Lasker Jewelers is fantastic and you should go there! I’d highly recommend having your kiddos ears pierced there. Professional,...
