Target — Attraction in Eden Prairie

Do not bother shopping at this location. I love Target and frequently shop there but this store is seriously disorganized and the team members have an obvious lack of caring about their customers.

I had recently called around looking for an item that was on sale. Other locations were sold out, finally got through to someone on the phone. They told me, yes they had the item. I asked for it to be put on hold, as I would be there in 20 minutes. The lady on the phone said no problem. Loaded up my 4 and 2 year kids, got to the store and attempted to locate- purchase said item. I went to the electronics desk, where the lady said it would be. There were 2 employees standing behind the desk, way more interested in talking to each other, than helping the extremely busy department. After asking repeatedly if they could help me, I finally got there attention. Explained that I had just called and that an item was out on hold. They both said that was impossible and they were sold out. I again told them, I just called and a girl told me she was going to put the item on hold for me. They asked to see my phone, so they could check which Target location I called. I showed them on my phone, and they (the store employees) had to take out their phone and google the number I called to verify it was that location. The employees didn’t even know their own store phone number!!!! They again told me, that my “story” was impossible and didn’t even have a females working in that department. But then one of them finally said, “Oh yeah, we do, she is on break right now”. Neither of them would look around the desk for the item that was supposedly put on hold for me. They just kept telling me, they didn’t have it. (The employee had not looked anyway) I asked if they could look on their system to see if any other store had them, to which they said, “you have your phone, you can call or look on the Target app.” It was obvious these 2 employees were not going to help, so I left. Went to the Edina location and had no problems at all.

I will not return to this location. And I strongly recommend that other people take the extra time to go to a different...

This is a horrible store, they scam you and take your hard earned money. Josh AP said he is aware that there are defective gift cards but they chose not to remove them from the shelves. So I spent $100 that I cannot use. Mastercard sent me back to the store, telling me that they resolve other issues but this is clearly a defective card and the store will rectify the issue. Josh purposely gave me the Target gift card number knowing that they can't resolve it. As the person on the phone stated that they don't deal with vendors related issues just target gift card. I was on the phone for 20 minutes and in the store for total of 40 minutes. Josh offered to void the whole transaction but told me that I will have to buy all the cards again. Why would I do that, the other 2 cards were already given as gifts, void the 2 and I can re-buy those 2 but his ego got the best of him and he said that I can go and deal with Mastercard. I was somewhat confused that he raised his voice, I am the one that spent money I can't use, why...

Horrible experience here. I got a bunch of items for my wife and I forgot to scan one item and all of a sudden I'm being told I did this on purpose and I meant to steal and I'm no longer allowed to shop here. They were going to call the police on me for missing a scan. There were like 20 items and I missed one item and now no longer allowed to shop here ever. Unfortunately you have to look super duper American otherwise security is just going to find a way to make sure you can't shop anymore. Target clearly hates minorities and I will no longer be shopping here even tho I got cleared. This place disgusts me now and I can no longer look at Target in the same manner. Put out the word folks Target is racist and should no longer being in service. I will be pursuing legal support and I can PROVE that this was racist.
