Lighthouse Beach — Attraction in Edgartown

Beautiful beach with clear warm shallow water. If you go early you won't have problem to park but remember you can park and stay 2 hours. Until 11.30 we never had problem moving the car to another spot. You walk 5 minutes (I think less) to get to the lighthouse. The walk is very beautiful, peaceful and the view all around is so...perfect. The is not crowded, most of the people come see the lighthouse and go. Some people walk there with their dogs...not many people stay at the beach for a long time. Lots of beautiful seashells....

Take a break from down town Egartowm and enjoy a stroll along the water, past beautifully manicured mansions and yards until you arrive at the paths to lighthouse beach. It's a nice hike with plenty of scenery on both sides of the path. The lighthouse is beautiful and a great photo op with the family. When open, the stairs to the top lead to a awesome 360 degree panoramic view. The beach is not huge, but there is plenty of room to hang out and enjoy watching the sail boats...

Beautiful and breathtaking beach in the Cape Cod, Massachusetts area! The lighthouses gives this place its name and for good reason. The white sandy beaches are perfect to walk and sit on! The water is a beautiful blue color although a little bit on the chilly side. Plenty of parking is available although it does fill up fast on the weekends and holidays. Very clean and safe!
