I recently had lunch at The Quarterdeck in Edgartown, and it was an absolute delight. Ate lunch there today, 8/3/20. Had the Lobster roll, should have been called small lobster bun. I’d need to eat 3 to be full, and they aren’t cheap at $18 each. My son had one as well, they were average tasting at best. My daughter had clam chowder and grilled cheese. She said it tasted like the chowder came out of a can and that the grilled cheese tasted like rubber, she didn’t finish either. My son and I also split a side of fries and they were not cold, but not warm either, certainly not hot like you’d expect. Didn’t even eat 1/4 of them. Very disappointing overall. No tables, no cash. Takeout only. But this seafood shack represents the best value in the island and it is very conveniently located in the heart of Edgartown.

Lobster roll is pretty solid. New England clam chowder is tasty. Clam strips and other fried foods are beyond edible. Tastes like all ingredients are from the frozen section of Restaurant Depot, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with that as long as the line cook knows how to prepare those frozen foods. And they do more than an adequate job at it.
