Maskeley - Cuts & Shaves — Attraction in Edgewater

One of the best hair cuts I’ve ever received. This was my first time here because I don’t live in the area, but I was close by for work. I’ll definitely be making a point to travel here more often moving forward, because it was totally worth it. When you walk in, the set up is like an old school barbershop. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and even offered me a drink. I got a haircut with Christian, who happens to be the owner. I was impressed by the attention to detail he gave and how he paid attention to what I said. Some barbers work too quickly and miss the small details. After my haircut, he gave me a hot shave which was very enjoyable. They offer a more thorough hot towel shave, but I didn’t have enough time that day unfortunately. I’ll definitely be back for that in the future. Afterwards, Christian washed my hair and then styled it. It came out great. Definitely make a point of stopping by for a haircut or shave if you are in the area....

Seriously the best. I have been going to Maskeley since it opened and Ashley always gives me the perfect cut. She always takes her time and exceeds my expectations. Ashley always remembers my haircut and does an amazing job every time. I can always count on Ashley to provide a great grooming experience. She pays attention to every detail and makes sure I always walk away feeling my best. The entire staff at Maskeley is very professional and very accommodating. The barbershop itself is very welcoming making it very easy to relax before your appointment. 5+ stars all around for this barbershop from quality of cut, the cost for the quality, the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the shop, everything. Carlos is my barber and I've been going for close to a year now. I'm not letting anyone else cut my hair as long as I'm in the north jersey/NYC area. I'm pretty particular about my hair especially with having challenging asian hair, however Carlos put all my concerns to bed through his knowledge of hair and his high quality hair cut. My haircuts are like a GQ model's hair. I wanted to experiment with a longer hairstyle and he educated me on the process and the timeline (and patience) it would take to get to the ideal length.
