The Target Loss Prevention Team is Very Unprofessional at the Edgewater NJ Store (1) The loss prevention team appears to be wanting to be cops which I find them totally unprofessional. Dressed like security officers is not the way to deter shoplifting, they should be plainclothes and not drive away good customers. Customers like security teams to help them, for example deterring pick pocketers or assists them in medical needs or first aid. I did the majority of my shopping on-line; the deals are much better than Target stores. Contactless shopping is the way to go, especially when covid is still very contagious. Be cautious of the Loss Prevention Manager. He is overzealous. As a State Law Enforcement Officer, I requested a courtesy to enter the Target Store. There were about 3 persons ahead of me. He said NO you are from New York, and you have to wait online (due to the spatial distancing). We had further words, I said for all the security issues you have with shoplifters at Target, you are not going to have any courtesies too. He then said his uncle is a Police Officer. Then you should understand professional courtesies. I asked to speak to his Manager and replied, I am the Manager, but he was just the square badge security supervisor. After I made my purchases, he had his security team respond to the exit like I was a criminal. I reported the square badge security supervisor to Corporate Target and they documented his poor judgement. No wonder why customers are resorting to Amazon and Walmart. Target is going out of business.

>>>WATCH YOUR RECEIPTS!!!! First off, I do NOT shop at Target anymore since they kissed the King's Ring. Yesterday I stopped in a pinch. Wow, do I regret it. The trash can outside was indicative of exactly Target's current state. They've completely given up... on EVERYTHING. Then, of course as it always is in this location, I was OVERCHARGED. Happens nearly every time I come to the Edgewater store, which is now maybe once every two months. Cortizone cream priced at $5.39. Rang up at $6.39. Had to go take a picture of the tag and get a refund at customer service. Hate this place as much as Target now hates minorities. Done, done, done!!!

Aaron was the best associate in the whole store he was kind ,courteous and understanding as he price verified some of my purchases eventho It might take a little longer. In the end of the transaction his manager switched him off register I hope it wasn’t for my time at register because he definitely gave great service and patience . Thanks again Aaron. The store has a spacious parking lot with multiple other stores in the area. It also has a Starbucks inside the store itself. It is a one level store with a good variety of items and handicap accessibility.

Don't shop here if you have a target baby registry! If you are pregnant and need frequent bathroom breaks braise yourself.. the bathrooms are the worst and dirtiest i have seen in the USA. Undercover boss needs a visit to this store. Hygiene and inspection team needs to visit this store as well. Target provides a coupon booklet upon creation of a target registry either online or onsite. 8 weeks prior to the due date clients receive a 15% discount on all remaining items not gifted on the registry. At the cash register, the cashier refused to use the coupon saying the value of discounts are huge. Of course 40% off a nursing tank of $50 takes off $20. I asked for a supervisor to be called. The supervisor said I could use only 4 of the 10 coupons because the value of the coupons are high (these coupons are provided by Target. It is a booklet with almost 50 coupons in it). I requested for the store manager who came and approved all the discounts. I have a red card and was supposed to get a 5% off my purchase which unfortunately did not happen at the time of checkout. While reviewing my items at home, i noticed i was double charged for some items and that all my coupons were not added correctly. The customer service is the worst you'll imagine. It took me more time to checkout than doing my shopping. I am 36 weeks pregnant and could pop at anytime. The supervisor and cashier kept me standing on my swollen feet with no pity for a long time. I will NEVER return to this...

I am a devoted Target shopper. I love Targets for their clean stores and good prices. However, this specific store in Edgewater consistently show you one price and charge you another. I just moved to the area a few months ago, and go to this Target about twice a month. Each and every time I notice a price difference. And when I tell the cashiers, they'd say, you were wrong or oh, the price must be wrong at the Aisle. Recently, I purchased 8 items, and 4 have wrong prices! I finally got fed up and told the customer service to give me the items for free, as other grocery stores would do. She did "price checks" and said that the higher prices were correct. I insisted of walking to the actual aisle and show them the prices that were being displayed. She finally gave me the difference between the displayed prices and what I've been charge. The differences were well over 18% of the prices! I wasted 20 minutes at the store to show them that they were wrong, and they didn't even give me an apology. The customer service rep was so upset as if someone finally caught them with their "pants down". If you must shop at this Target, make sure you write down all the prices and check and double check your receipt! As for me, I'd avoid going there as much as possible. Unfortunately, they are the only one that carriers the diapers...
