Beware New York customers - scanner is outdated and will not recognized all newer IDs. Was unable to purchase items even with my legal, unexpired ID issued several months ago. After contacting the NYS DMV, I have confirmation that it is not an issue with my card but a result of outdated scanner. Customer service could be improved upon, efforts were not made to try to understand or correct the problem and it was automatically assumed to be an issue with me rather than their system. Had no issue scanning when I went elsewhere afterwards and as such will gladly take my business elsewhere. What adds to the frustration is they seemed to have no issues with it the previous three times I visited - I recall them looking at the card but not scanning it. Last night was the 2nd time I’ve been here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and I was disappointed in the poor customer service; rude bartender, and police office door and management vibes of the restaurant. The managers walk around with frowns on their faces all night while telling people they can’t dance by their chair or while standing at the bar. The food and drinks are sub par and the hookah, overpriced. It’s pretty evident that they didn’t want me and my girlfriends there - yet we were, by far, the BELLES OF THEIR CORNY BALL. I don’t spend my $ in spaces where my presence isn’t celebrated. Where should I start???? Customer service on a zero. After you meet with the calm hostess and are sat at the table it all goes down from there. Unorganized from trying to sit 6 at a table for 4. Requesting food with restrictions due to allergies only for it to come out the exact way you asked for it not to. Then let's think this place serves hookah, but yet getting them to change your coal is like pulling teeth. You ask for shoots of a particular teliqua and instead you are served the house liquor.
