Dick's Sports Barbers — Attraction in Edina

Worst customer service experience in my life. I walked in the barber looked right at me and saw me sit down. Nothing said. I sat for 15 minutes with nobody in the waiting spot. Then as he’s finishing up someone walked in he greeted them and said you must be and then asked me if I had an appointment. Now I’m confused because for 15 minutes I sat nothing was spoken about an appointment so I’m not assuming anything because there’s nothing stating no walk ins. So now I sat for 15 minutes to be told a sob story I’m the only one here we can’t cut your hair until 10 am. So out of all the times you seen me sitting there you didn’t think to open your mouth till after. Was it because I’m not part of the in crowd or because I look like I did not have money to be in your uppity sports barbershop? Post no walk ins welcome or by appointment only because it only states you can make an appointment doesn’t mean anything about walking in. Steer clear unless your in the in crowd or call first definitely not going to give a crap to cut your hair as a walk in they evidently are rich and don’t not...

Walked in and saw only one woman, and she was working the register and taking appointments - so far, so good. When it was my turn, I sat down and the guy asked what I'd like. I told him to tighten up the back and sides, then leave enough on top to style a bit. Based off looking at my hair, he knew EXACTLY what I wanted. Now here's the important part: he used a buzzer, a comb, and a pair of scissors. No "number 3 clipper attachments," no guessing, no stupid questions. These guys are TRUE barbers and they cut men's hair. If you're a man and you have hair, get it cut at Dick's. A bit more expensive than most (around $25), but certainly worth it. BAAA! I went in for a beard trim and specifically stated to the barber I wanted just a trim and to keep all of the length. I got sheared like a sheep! I'm very upset that the barber chopped my beard off. I could have done that at home if that is what I wanted to do. I wanted it cleaned up so it looked nice not removed. I tried calling the shop three times prior to writing this review, they never answered. I was specific with the barber and am very dissapointed. My four year old can follow directions better. Very poor quality at best. I picked this place becuse I thought they could handle the task better than a sports clips type shop, huge mistake. Maybe this will help keep others from making...
