Exotic Berry Frozen Yogurt — Attraction in Edinburg

I debated a lot on the # of stars I would give but at the end the owner Robert Elizondo helped me make the decision. Okay so I consider myself a pro at Exotic Berry places in Pharr and Mission (I love these!) I asked the one in Edinburg if they were the same as either and they told me they were the same as Mission so I knew I didn't have to try anything because I love the one in Mission so I went straight and got the Pistachio and Taro I spend $25.96 and when I got home the immense difference was a shock. The difference in flavor on the Pistachio from the others is extreme. I called Mission store and they told me that the reason for the difference was because the one in Edinburg was Gilatto and the one in Mission & Pharr is yogurt. I asked the owner if I could just simply take the yogurts back and get a refund but he said all he could do was give me a 10% discount for my next visit. So then I told him that I would just place a review and then he said well I could give you a free yogurt for your next visit and I was very disappointed (all I wanted was my money back) and I would take the yogurts back (one being intact) but he didn't want to. All he said was I'm sorry that's all I could do (even though I told him I would be okay with him giving me a gift card for the one in Mission or Pharr) but he didn't want to. Long story short this location is not worth it to me. Yes the customer service from the employees is great but I expected a simple sorry and yes bring the yogurts back and we will refund your money. Just visited this place for the first time tonight with my husband. Upon walking in, we noticed 3 ladies just grouped up behind the back counter near the back kitchen chi chatting away as we stood and looked at the menu. We were ready to order and the young girl taking our order seemed annoyed when she had to come over from her chit chat group to serve us. Another woman there was giving my husband and I dirty looks from the time we walked in and mind you….she was HELPING HERSELF to the yogurt toppings without any gloves on!!! Nevertheless this was the same woman who then prepared my açaí bowl, when she came out and it was time to put toppings, she refused to serve me since she assumed I couldn’t couldn’t speak Spanish. She told the other girl working there in a very rude tone in Spanish to help me instead because she wasn’t going to bother speaking English since she didn’t understand. I just couldn't hear her, it’s not that I didn’t understand. After this happened, the girl who did help us also continued to behave rudely and didn’t tell the other girl anything after she practically threw my incomplete açaí bowl at her after refusing to serve me.
