October 2022: (4 Star) Ice cream still tastes amazing, guy up front was polite, but for some reason me and another customer were waiting a long time for our food. They politely told me it would take 15 minutes for a fresh wrap because they were down to one chef on Friday at 5:30pm??? Wrap was hot and delicious and brought to my table in a paper bag. Unfortunately, they were out of certain menu items, so I had to change my order. They have decorated cakes displayed in the middle, new cake flavors in the back, copies of menus on the tables. People were in and out, so pretty busy considering it's fall now. Please train your employees to speak louder, I couldn't really hear his explanations, and had to ask him to repeat himself.
June 2022: (5 Star) Great variety, taste, and service! He saw me hesitate looking when looking at ice cream and offered me some sample spoons and slowly explained some flavors since there was no one else there. Got a medium cup with 2 scoops, some red/pink fruit sherbet and a mango ice cream (with pistachios?). Prices are on sample cups on the counter and on the menu, just ask about the cakes too. Cute interior and reasonable prices for an ice cream store. In a popular plaza with...
Read moreI recently visited Happy Dayz in Edison and ordered their rose falooda. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The noodles inside the falooda were not cooked properly for which i have attached pictures too 😪, which was quite off-putting. Considering the $8 price tag, I expected a better quality drink. The preparation seemed to be lacking key ingredients like dry fruits and rose syrup, which are essential for a satisfying rose falooda. As someone who enjoys this drink during the summer, it was disheartening to have such a subpar experience at a place that I had high hopes for. The quality of the food and the willingness of the staff to make customers happy are crucial aspects . I sincerely hope that the owners of Happy Days take this feedback into consideration. Training the employees in proper food preparation and providing a quality experience for customers would greatly benefit the establishment. I don't harbor any hard feelings; I simply wish for improvements that will enhance the overall customer experience.
Please don’t go by Falooda pictures on the screen and you’ll be...
Read moreThe ice cream itself is not a problem. Sure some fruit flavors are not that sweet, but the thing that is wrong with this place is the judgmental staff. They gave quite harsh looks when asked if they had samples. They were giving judgmental looks to anyone who looks overweight and was buying ice cream. This trend took me a few minutes to notice. This itself is a type of fat shaming. They should change some staff members. There are two things to keep in mind. The first is that this is an ice cream store, which means they sell food. People of all ages and shapes eat. There is no right or wrong choice in this. The second is that one has no idea what someone else is going through, not just mentally but also physically. One does not know by one glance if someone is fat because of the food they eat or if it is some medical condition. If the staff gives rude looks to anyone overweight who orders sweet ice cream at an ice cream store, that sounds like quite the problem which should be addressed. Happy dayz might just turn someone's...
