Let me begin by saying thank you to Richard, Leela, and the entire staff who helped my mother and I with our purchase. Excellent quality and care over the phone and in store. Visit for the quality products, return for the quality experience. 5.8 stars ⭐ (The greatest thing about the reviews you will read is that they were all voluntary reviews. Other local jewelers have offered me discounts to post positive reviews, but not here. None of these reviews have been purchased/paid for. I'd like to share the story behind our adventure nearly an hour away from Westchester, NY to Edison, NJ. Decades ago my mother gave a special pendant to my father which he wore every day for the rest of his life. When they made a family of their own, my father decided to give duplicates to all of his children. It is a vintage style superman logo. This symbol is so much more than a superhero emblem to my family. It has been our symbol of strength, love, and unity for many years. These virtues were tested when my father was taken from us too soon. He was diagnosed with cancer and while he fought the battle we did our best to remind him he would always be our 'Superman' even if he could no longer fight. In his honor we continue to wear the superman symbol as a sign that we have his strength and that he will forever be near our hearts. A year ago our family was blessed with the joy of a newborn baby. It is my mother's wish to adorn her first grandchild with the symbol we all bear. She struggled to find a replica that would match the rest of ours, but discovered online that Shin Brothers Jewelers Inc had a piece similar in white gold. My mother spoke to Leela over the phone who was able to assure her that they carry the yellow gold piece we were desperately searching for and currently had one left in stock. Although they offered to ship the item to us, we decided to take the trip to the store to see if in fact what they were holding for us was the elusive piece of jewelry we were seeking. I am so happy we took the trip to visit the store. It is so nice to see the people who helped us on our journey. From the moment we entered the store everyone was very welcoming and accommodating.

You remind me so much of my late father that not only were we thrilled to find what we were looking for, but we were happy to be able to support the business of a hard-working family man. My father worked many jobs to support his family and pave the way for his children. My father was the happy, warm welcome at his place of business. He would wear his phone on his hip and he would take photographs with customers he didn't want to forget, and I am blown away by the parallels I felt walking into your store. If we didn't live so far from your store I'm sure I would be popping in all the time. As you mentioned, we may be the customers that need to place orders for delivery instead. However, we felt the trip was worth getting to meet you all.

My family has been patronizing Shin Brothers since I was a child. My favorite ring - featuring a beautiful little marquis shaped sapphire - is still in my jewelry box. Though much too small for me now as an adult, it was originally made in one of his old stores when I was only in grade school. I believe he also resized it when I was in my early teens. He also made my brother's wedding bands and set a new stone in his wife's engagement ring - a very delicate heirloom setting she inherited from her grandmother. We've sent countless friends and relatives for engagement rings and anniversary presents etc.

My mother and I stopped in to get a bracelet fixed that was purchased for me as a christmas gift from a large chain jeweler. It had broken less than a month after receiving it. The staff was friendly and helpful, and was apologetic that it would likely take a week to repair - faster than I'd expected. I dropped it off on a friday afternoon and received a call that it was already finished on Tuesday morning.Their price was extremely reasonable - much less than I'd thought it would be.

My mother asked if Mr. Shin was available to say hello. The attendant said he was working in the back and would check if he could step out. He stopped and came out right away and immediately recognized my mother, who hasn't been in one of his stores in nearly 10 years and then recognized me -- I hadn't seen him since I was probably 15 - nearly 20 years. He never forgets a face. We chatted for a few minutes and my mother asked him for some ideas for resetting a ring my father had custom made for her several years ago. She was interested in taking the 3 large stones and putting them into a necklace, but she wanted something unique. He happily showed us several designs that were stunning and I hadn't seen anywhere before. He asked her to bring the ring back another day so he could see the exact size of the stones to give her a better idea.

Many of the items in his shop are custom pieces he designed himself - extremely beautiful - he's very talented. He teased me asking who bought my bracelet from that large chain store, hinting that I'd probably overpaid. I told him my boyfriend had, but that we would certainly point him to Shin Brothers in the future. He and my mother joked about being sure to send him in when he's looking for engagement rings. Honestly the price, quality and artistry of his work is incredible and I will probably never shop...

SB Jewelers was by far the best experience I ever had buying a watch. I had seen the location many times since I frequent nearby stores, but had never walked inside until today. I wanted to look at their Citizen watches since they are featured on Citizen's official site as an authorized seller, but was considering buying the watch from Amazon. I really only intended to try on the watch, and then buy it on Amazon since I thought they had the lowest price I could find online. I was in for a SURPRISE!

Dora was extremely helpful in assisting me, and even though the watch I had initially wanted was discontinued, I was shown two watches which I really liked. I couldn't decide which watch to get, so it was suggested to get both, and I was told they would hold the second watch for me later if I put a deposit down on it now. This made me very happy as I love collecting watches. They were able to give me such a great price on them, I felt as if I had been coming there for years!

The service was so phenomenal, I was even given bottled water while waiting for everything to be finished. Richard was very knowledgeable and showed me a beautiful Movado. It was also great conversing with the other regular customers, and hearing their thoughts on watches. I will be coming here regularly to purchase my watches, as they have made a loyal customer out of me! I highly recommend anyone to go here to purchase their jewelry!! Thanks SB...
