I have been getting mail in my mail box that belongs to another address. I stopped my carrier today to tell him my issue. I explained that I have been getting mail in my box that should have been delivered to another address.. My neighbors have had the same experience. The carrier told me that He wasnât buying my complaint. It became obvious that he was not going to listen to my complaint nor was he helpful at all....I went to the post office on 200 north Broadway to see the postmaster. ..bad idea...He didnât stand to greet me like most executives do when someone wants to talk to them about a problem,. He sat with arms crossed with a look on his face that appeared to me to be indifferent. Heâs been there 32 years....He offered no help at all and it was obvious to me that the problem with mail service to my area will never be addressed in any meaningful way..... Iâve lived here over twenty years and the past few months, and maybe a couple years and the problem in not being addressed. All they have to do is check the mailâs address against the box address where they are delivering todayâs mail....No help will be forth coming from the North Broadway office as long as the post master is there...his attitude of being dismissive has carried over to the carriers.....no wonder if they donât care since the post master doesnât give a flip either......I live in the Fox Lake addition...
Read moreI have repeatedly talked to the supervisor and postmaster about my postal service, to no avail. They have returned my mail to sender even when I had a valid transfer of mail in place. I am still running around trying to get paperwork required for taxes that I can just found out was returned to sender and it is July!!! The postmaster, even when shown evidence of error on the part of the post office, was unconcerned and unapologetic. He said that the post office was not responsible for any errors made by their employees. This may be a government entity, but it is also a business and should be run as such. This same issue has occurred repeatedly - this is not an isolated incident. I don't know my mail has been returned until someone calls to let me know they got something back. There seems to be no recourse when USPS chooses not to do their job. This should be unacceptable but instead appears to be standard operating procedure for the Edmond Post Office on Broadway. Other post office locations may conduct business in an honorable manner, but not this office and not it's postmaster. If there were a rating lower than one star, I would assign a negative number to this location and postmaster. USPS needs to investigate the practices of this...
Read moreI get a shipment of live superworms for my bearded dragon every couple of months. I know exactly where they keep their packages for live animals. When I come to pick up my package, I specifically tell them that it is a live animal package. One woman there searches the opposite side of the back for a solid 15 minutes every single time. Then she comes up and asks me if I'm sure I had it set to get picked up and not delivered. I reiterate that I indeed need to pick up a package of live animals. She then says I should have told her it was a live animal package originally, even though I did. After that, she'll go to the area where they keep their live animal packages and get it for me. She is the only employee who does this. Every other employee goes to that specific spot, gets my package, and hands it to me. If I don't have to deal with her, I'm in and out in less than 5 minutes. Once, another employee who had overheard our conversation went and got the package for me after she went off searching on the opposite side....
