I wanted to give you five stars I really did. I've been to this bar 3 times and my first two experiences were out of this world. We had quick service, great selection, good food trucks, and really enjoyed playing corn hole and table tennis. In fact we had so much fun we brought friends from out of town and we stayed all night each with a hefty tab easily $300 total. However, after a rough day I decided to stop by on a weekday evening. The bartender asked me what I would like since when I arrived I was the only person at the bar. I asked if the Boulevard Wheat was available from the back patio bar. The bartender went and checked and came back in to tell me someone else was checking. ( I was totally fine with this experience at this point). After a minute or so another employ comes in and says it is at which point the bartender then turns to me and says it is available. At this point two other guests had asked to tab out so the bartender was in the process of printing off their tabs as I was told the good news. Here is where it sucks! The bartender then says I'll go get it in a second, I'm the only bartender tonight and other people have come in. At which point a new guest from behind me steps up and orders a beer. The bartender ignores me and serves him. I guess it was a new concept that even though you have to go outside to get a product and bring it in you don't serve everyone else, then the person who was first. Totally unacceptable and poor customer service. Not to mention the bartender never asked for my I.D. I said thanks and left. If your serious about good business and being around for a while take the time to train your staff not to mention check some I.D.'s other than on Friday and Saturday nights...
Read moreTheir name literally means "the Dad who is in charge" yet they treat their staff and customers like adults! There is no signage regarding masks or distance requirements or anything else to do with 'Rona madness. I got to see the full face of a service professional for the first time in months and I was very happy to see her smile and the way that everyone there interacted like normal people for once. I was so surprised to see people having a folk music jam session in the bar and it was all so enjoyable. The beer selection is amazing and I am too broke to try more than a couple but I don't believe their prices are bad. Thank you so much to the the Patriarch and to it's staff for making it possible for people to get together and forget about the madness that is our world right now and encouraging people to see their fellow man and neighbor as a human being rather than a threat to ones safety! May God...
Read moreWe went after work just to hang out. Itâs a really neat place with an awesome outside area, but I was a little disappointed in the staff that night. I was sitting at a table outside with 5 other work friends where we could clearly see staff members pointing at me and talking about me through the window, when one (pretty young girl herself) nearly stormed out the door on a mission to our table where she slammed her hands down asking for my ID. Now, I do look young and I totally understand IDâing people on site but it was really the way that it happened, and on top of it I wasnât even drinking. She may have just needed to slow down and catch her breath before approaching a customer. She then I think kind of caught herself and said âSorry, we have toâ but also realized that she hadnât IDâd ANYONE ELSE at the table. It was just an...
