ZERO STARS. One of the worst customer experiences I ever had. Every negative thing written in other bad reviews is spot-on. Believe them.
Took a laptop to have a cracked screen replaced, was told "2 weeks" to complete by "Jesse." At week 3 having heard nothing we reached out to learn there was difficulty sourcing the correct screen. Ok, I get it. No problem. At week4 they found a screen, supposedly, so we paid for it. Repeat calls and 3 more trips to the shop to get an ETA were always met with "I"ll have him call you," which never happened. At every turn the lack of progress or info was pushed off on 'Ruben' who was never there. He's a ghost.
We finally demanded the return of the laptop. At pickup, upon directly asking if the screen had been installed Jesse said point blank, "Yes." Fine. We'd already prepaid the screen so we took the laptop home only to discover the new screen had not been installed. Not only that but the case was now misassembled and the ethernet port cover was broken off and missing.
Within 2 hours it was back to the shop to demand a refund and ask why we'd just been misinformed. First words out of Jesse's mouth about the refund were, "I can''t do that." Again it was pushed off on the always absent 'Ruben.' Jesse had the gall to insinuate we had misassembled the case ourselves.
Jesse said, "You'll get your refund, I sent him a text." Ruben hadn't responded so at this point I knew better than to rely on Jesse's proven worthless word that Ruben would follow up. That never happened before so I wasn't having it now. There's zero credibility. I had to insist Jesse call Ruben to make the refund happen. Begrudgingly, the call was placed. Behold! Ruben answered Jesse's call and the CashApp refund was initiated. I just had to stand on Jesse's neck to make it happen. It was all so unnecessary.
From a customer service standpoint they are abysmal. We were dismissed, lied to, misinformed, and frankly taken advantage of. I think they'd have happily kept the money we paid for a screen we never got. We'll just eat the other damage they inflicted and instead take the laptop somewhere professional - because this isn't the place.
All we got was 6 weeks of wasted time and the headache of dealing with Jesse.

Read moreDropped off laptop that needed screen repaired. Explained I had tried with another repair place in town, but there were compatibility issues and waited 6 months for used screens to become less expensive. Had to call after a week, Ruben’s brother was courteous and provided an eBay item number for a used screen. His vendor did not have one, but if I bought it and took it to him, he would only charge labor to replace. Fair enough. Bought it. When I dropped it off on a Thursday morning, he said he was working on a tower but it would be the next one. I called Monday afternoon and left a vm when I had not heard anything. Called again wednesday and spoke with the nice elderly lady who could not tell me anything, repeated my number incorrectly and suddenly had a customer she was working with and had to hang up. Called again Thursday late morning, no answer. This is a week after delivering the screen. Called later Thursday and spoke with Ruben who told me the interface was wrong. So about a month after dropping it off and a week after delivering the screen, I had to call 4 times to get an answer. Out $15 to ship the screen back and another $30 in restocking fee. Felt there was no communication from Ruben. If I didn’t repeatedly call, I might still be waiting. I took his advice at my own risk. I don’t want any reimbursement, but none was offered. Poor experience all around. Specifically did not want a repeat of the issue finding the correct screen and told my story to both the nice lady and Ruben. Mistake was repeated at my expense. Could accept better if they had been upfront and responsive. We all...
Read moreI dropped off my computer at Computers, Cables & More on September 4, 2024, for a repair (Work Order #3789). The issue was water damage issues.
From September 2024 until April 2025, I received absolutely no updates or communication from the shop regarding my computer's status. I called them several times during this period to inquire about the repair, but received no answers. It wasn't until April 8, 2025, that I finally received an invoice and made a down payment of $122.98. At that time, I also explicitly asked for the estimated timeline for getting my computer back. Despite having paid for a portion of the service and their subsequent communication via text message on June 26, 2025, from 'Jesse' informing me my computer was 'being put together' and would be ready by 'Monday or Tuesday,' it has now been over 10 months, and I still do not have my computer.
I followed up on July 2, 2025, asking if I could pick it up, and again later that day asking for an update. The last response I received was 'Hello let me check with my boss pls' on July 2, 2025, at 12:44 PM. Since then, there has been absolutely no further communication or update, and my computer has not been returned.
The complete lack of proactive communication from the start, failure to provide updates despite my repeated calls, broken promises, and the excessive delay for a paid service are utterly unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with the service and reliability of this business. I strongly advise others to reconsider using this shop if they value timely service, clear communication, and actually getting their...
