Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had being there. Which is a shame because the first time we went and did confinement it was amazing. This time around we did taken and it was a complete mess. The whole purpose of the game is to communicate through walkie talkies the first half of the game. But the walkers didn’t even work! That went on for about 15 min I kept waving to the camera trying to catch someone attention to tell them the walkies didn’t work and no response. Finally I left the room just to find someone. When they finally replaced them the new walkies were still messing up. We tried to get someone’s attention we got frustrated and was left like that for another 15 min. So that’s 30 min that’s gone by for a game that’s only a hour. They finally got them fixed but by then we didn’t even wanna play anymore. We actually got really desperate because we were getting no responses and pulling out some drawers to get to the other ones that were locked and got yelled at. Which fair enough but if we’re getting no response or help with faulty equipment we got desperate. Plus we did it because when they were suppose to have live actors. What love actirs were they talking about?! Because the only person we saw was one guy that jumped scared us before we even started the game. Like I said it’s a shame because confinement was amazing, the staff was nice (even the lady that yelled at us), and the themes are pretty cool. However if the game doesn’t even work then what’s the...
Read moreBefore I say anything... my group failed our room... but we still had the best time! Previously I have been to two escape rooms, each at a different location in town (Monkey Mayhem and Operation Outbreak which I also thoroughly enjoyed), but this one was my favorite by far. I don't know if it was the fact that Red Door is a bigger company or anything but this time felt so much better than the others.
While we originally wanted to do "The Gift", we ended up doing "Confinement" because we forgot to book our room until the day of (apparently I'm friends with so many flakes I could build a snowman with them). Now hear me out... Confinement is their hardest room and as a group of mainly first timers WE ALMOST DID IT, we used up WAY too many clues and the game master had to practically hold our hands but we all had little moments that made us feel awesome nonetheless. By the time our clock hit zero my heart was racing, my brow was sweaty, and my room was demoralized, but we still had fun.
I HIGHLY recommend this place, they have rooms made for players of all experience levels so you will definitely have a great time no matter who you bring, just check your ego at the door before you take on a harder room. I had a great time, and...
Read moreUnfortunately this was not a great experience. We walked in and asked if they had any walk in rooms available. The people at the front desk said no but didn't look at the computer. We decided to look online to schedule for another day and saw 3 rooms available for the same day so we booked taken at 10:40. We walked back inside and they all looked at us and started talking badly about us. The two girls started to laugh and walked into the back. At this point it became uncomfortable but we already bought our tickets for 130$. We proceed to the game and during the game we asked for clues and it took 15 min to get the first one after we pressed it. The walkie talkie died and we kept waving down the camera. I walked outside room 915 and tried to find someone. Eventually the game master just says use your phones and walked away. We had 10 minutes left and at this point everyone was defeated. The game master who walks us out and as we get in our cars the rest of the staff walkout laughing and looking at us. We will never come back to red door escape room after this. It's unfortunate as we would go often before covid... they have gone downhill. I will be contacting management about this.... if I could give 0...
