Deceptive sales tactics and coverages. Take your money somewhere else. Anything you buy here you will pay them to bring it back! they say the word Free too much while always charging a service Fee$
Went in to get a unlock phone and diswasher. I don't usually go to this location, everytime I go, the devices attach to alarms always goes off. They went off twice and it took forever for someone to turn it off so I left. I want to mention that they need more training on products and customer service. Most of the phones were out of stock and could not even be ordered. Put a sign up, why waste people's time if you don't have the product to sell to them.
4 of the employees were just standing around on their phones. I asked a gal to help me and she seemed frustrated that these guys were not doing their jobs. She was very short with me and seemed annoyed. No phone in stock so I went to the appliance section and asked and employee with help. He told me to talk to this other guy. The other guy was unable to answer my question about my fridge I bought there. Meanwhile three other employees were standing around talking and joking. They said nothing and kept standing around the dishwashers I wanted to look at. The alarm was going majority of the time about 15mins out of the 20mins or so I was in there.
If it was my store I would be ashamed of my employees. Paying for so many employees to stand around but don't seem to know what they are doing seems like a good way to loose money. Better to just order off Amazon! Best buy is getting worse every year!
Horrible service, barely any phones in stock. You can't even barely touch the phones without alarm going off. The store makes most there money on selling warranty coverages for all their items even a candy bar!😅
They make warranty hard to process and or usually they say, oh your warranty expired because we switched out coverage programs. Scams and deceptive. This has happened 3 times to me through the years and everytime they switched, from geek squad protection to best buy total!
An employee told me that my 2 thousand dollar fridge needs to be fixed a minimum of 2 times before they can honor some type of exchange or replacement. They make more money charging a service fee for every incident claim and a ridiculous usually 40% restocking for any returned item you don't like, even if it's the next day. This is a poor business strategy to misslead and miss inform people forcing them to feel stuck with the product! Take your money somewhere else. Free for them to look at your electronics but they will always charge you for something, screen, battery, fan, case, card. It's a good business idea and model but very poorly executed! And only benefits the company, not so much their customers and members. It's a unwelcoming environment needless to say. Cancel your protection plans and take your money somewhere else that truly appreciates...
Read moreI came in the store to get my iPhone fixed. The part that I needed was the whole back piece of my phone. The store did not have it. Nor did any other store in the area. I was then asked to leave my phone for three or four days Until the part came in and they could fix my phone. I do not remember when I signed the membership agreement that it stated that I would have to leave my cell phone behind for three or four days. In order to get my property fixed for the fee that I paid. Then I asked to speak to an assistant store manager. I told the assistant store manager that I could not leave my phone for three or four days because I am a roofing contractor and need my phone because I’m on call 24 seven. I asked if they could order the part and as soon as the part came in, I would come in and get my phone fixed. The store manager told me that he was not able to bend that policy even though I’m an elite customer and I purchased the membership agreement for service and buy a significant amount of product from the store. I will probably not come back to the store and do business nor do I recommend anybody else. For repairs on their Apple products because the store does not have an adequate supply of parts. Also, they give made up processes that don’t exist, other than their in store processes And I don’t feel that when I sign an agreement that they say they can fix my property that I have to leave my property while they order the part. My property is in working condition. However, the cracks on the back of the glass are a static and probably at some point will cause structural damage to the phone. I do not feel that when I sign an agreement with a store for service that all of a sudden in the middle of the agreement they get to make up in store processes that make it difficult for me to do business with that store. The assistant store manager, Adrian that I dealt with gave off an attitude that wasn’t very professional. Was rude when he told me that I’m not the only good customer that he has...
Read moreI'm deeply disappointed in the Best Buy as a whole. I spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy and I have always purchased my items at Best Buy just for the simple fact of the total tech protection plan. I was getting the yearly membership which is fine. Unfortunately an incident happened where I lost my cards and had to get new ones when I I went to Best Buy to put in my card information for the protection plan payment. They said that the payment had already passed and that since it has passed we have to start a new account. Therefore, any and all warranty items or "monthly" protection plans are null and void I was under the impression that as long as I'm paying the monthly or yearly payment regardless I would still have my warranties but apparently with Best Buy. That's not how it works. If you miss a payment then you have to completely make a brand new account for everything. It makes no sense. There is no rhyme or reason to it. There should be a way for me to just renew just like anything else in this world. This was a complete and utter disappointment that all my warranties and all my protection plans are gone. I won't be returning to Best Buy. I'll be getting my items somewhere else until they change their protection plan to be a renewable service and not just this botched idea of a service plan. Just think of it. You buy all these items and you pay extra to get the protection plans for them. Knowing that if anything happens in the next 2 years you'll have the items protected but then you miss one payment and you're like okay. Well, I'll just make the payment and continue turns out. Nope, you can't make a new payment. You have to make a new account and those two years of warranties that you PAID EXTRA for are now gone so it is utterly ridiculous how this...
