Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in El Paso

I’ve been going to this Cici’s pizza location for about 11 years, and I have always had a pleasant experience. I am changing my review however, due to the staff that is employed here. First, they don’t offer the veterans discount for takeout anymore which doesn’t make sense to me. When I had gone to make a takeout order, the man at the register took my order and then seemingly forgot to get it started. I’m assuming he did because I did not see my order given to the cooks, and he was busy talking to staff members that were off shift. They are all teenagers so of course horseplay occurs but it was very unprofessional. The employees played in and out of the restaurant going back and forth through the doors. I waited 30 minutes and went to ask about my order and I was right, they didn’t know about it so I had to wait another 10. My most recent experience wasn’t great either. There were employees eating at a table near the salad bar, and they were making out which once again is very unprofessional. Regardless of the unprofessionalism, the food is still good as always. The only reason I gave four stars is because there was a long wait for the sweets to be set up baked and put out for the guests to eat and the party we were with had children that were patiently waiting for the sweets but we left and they were never done. The pizza took a while to be replenished but it was probably because there was only one person preparing and baking....and one of the girls behind the counter seemed lost. The gracious men cleaning up the dining area were great ...they worked really hard to keep the place clean .....we had not visited this CiCis in awhile....it was nice to see the dining area had been redone. Hopefully the next time we visit these issues would have been addressed and taken care of. Disabled accessible, bathroom was clean, kid friendly, Covid 19 enforced (masks when serving yourself at the buffet). Oh! and before I leave you the buffet is only $3.99+ tax (drink not included)but they do have free refills Mon. - Thurs. until 4 pm so it was nice to take the kids there...

Me and my husband are always eating here and they changed the crew and replace the manager Kevin which I’m very upset about because Kevin had the bathroom very clean and he would go check on all the tables to make sure everyone is okay and is the best customer service I ever had....you need to bring everyone back all the staff and Kevin would always make sure there’s fresh pizza out and make sure everything is clean and we would see how well he treats his staff this new guy that was there tonight didn’t have fresh pizza out or clean restroom on of his staff members was the only one cleaning and she was one of Kevin...
