I used to volunteer at my high school library. That's where I discovered that I love reading 🥰 and learned the Dewey Decimal System. I read the entire Encyclopaedia Brittanica, some dictionaries and thesauruses. Because of those experiences, I'm an educated articulate MoFo 🤣 You could say I'm a sapiophile.
Then at my local library, I was a Regular Joe. Checked out and read almost everything from Stephen King, Anne Rice, John Graham, Michael Crichton, and Robin Cook.
Life gets in the way. I stopped reading (for 20+ years 😖😬) but managed to squeeze in a few ebooks this past year.
Today I stepped into the library to inquire about the Passport process and walked out with two books: The Bone Labyrinth and Blood Line - both by James Rollins.
Here/Now is when I reignited my flaming passion for novels.

Read moreThis review is based solely on the PASSPORT SERVICES: We went on a Wednesday and got to the library at around 7:45am even though they open at 10:00am. It was first time passports for two minor children and two adults and we were the first in line. People didn’t start showing up until around 9:15am, and then a line quickly formed. Passport applications were completed in ink prior to arriving, along with originals and copies of TX DL, Birth certificates, and social security cards. They can also take your passport picture there for an additional $10, so I got two money orders: one for $45 (City fee and photo fee combined) and one for $130 (passport book). They DO NOT accept cash or debit card....

One of the hardcover books were like most of these books a little torn and damaged, but this one the pages were already coming apart. By the time I returned this book the book came apart, needles to say it was an old book. I did the responsible thing and reported the situation to the librarian right away. She made a smurk remark and laughed at me saying " that will be $ 8.99" they don't accept checks or credit cards ..I ended up paying for this old damaged book full price AND she didn't even give me the book??? Wtd! Totally unprofessional..I had to wait for this manager librarian who at the time was at lunch..I waited from 1pm to close to 4pm..wow...this is where our hard earned tax money goes to..paying for old books and...
