If I can give this place 10 stars, I’d give them 20! This place is absolutely amazing! We’ve been here for a few months now, and we’re huge pizza fans. I mean who doesn’t love pizza? We always try to find local spots for our favorite foods, and we found this place. We’ve ordered from them twice for pickup and a few other places, but we decided Great American was the tasty option out of all of them.
I ordered delivery this time, and I did it on their website because I thought they had their own delivery service. We love to support local businesses, so I figured it was a good idea. Well, guess what? The driver who picked up my order decided it was theirs to keep! I guess he needed it more than we did.
I tried to fix it on DoorDash, but they told me to contact the store. The customer service there is incredible! The manager was so apologetic and said she would call the owner and they would work with DoorDash and figure out a solution. If DoorDash couldn’t fix it, they would make sure I get compensated.
Not long after, the owner himself called me to let me know he had resolved the issue with DoorDash. He apologized for the inconvenience and said my order would be delivered soon. As the driver was pulling up, he made sure to let me know I would be receiving it soon.
The owner and employees have totally exceeded my expectations. I hope other businesses can follow in their example. It may not seem like much, but great customer service makes a big difference. I wish nothing but the absolute best for the owner and this business. My family and I are so grateful for your service and your delicious pizza! You have made us...
Read moreI originally gave 4 stars for my review but have to change this review to a one star. There are a few employees that put passion into their pizza pies but there is a couple that slack. I kept asking for my pizza to be cooked through so that it can rise, even if a pizza has extra pepperoni it should not be thin and greasy or skimping on cheese or sauce. This is the second time this has happened. I spoke with the owner who said his name was Phil and he hung up in my face by rushing my off the phone saying thank you for my business and I had to go and ask for my refund. It smells like dirty mop water in the establishment every time I went there which also is a big turn off. I say you are better off going to Speedys pizza because this business do not appreciate gracious customers who spend money regularly to support local businesses. Now I have to find a new lunch and dinner...
Read moreHands down the best in town! It takes me a half hour to drive there and back but it's so worth it. As close to real NYC or Boston pizza as you can get without going to N.Y.. They have large and small. The small is closer to a tiny personal pizza and the large is more like a medium. Solution? I get 2 large. There is no medium. Try it and you found your new pizza place. Its basically for delivery and takeout there not set up to dine in. They also offer Pepsi products. Too bad, I like coke. Someone told me then I told others and thus far we all have a new pizza place. Call ahead it will be ready when you get there. Its on the east side. Far east. There's another on the west so make sure your calling the right one or it won't be ready. Ok I admit it I did that. My bad. Anyway, Freindy staff in and out...
